well, in my opinion, the seal is a really great submarine, and to bring it to perfection, I would like to see 1) the possibility of docking transport from your other mods. 2) so that we can build wall structures (like a water purifier). 3) increase the size of the rooms and possibly round them off. I saw how the design of the seal looks from the middle, and I see a lot of free space, I think it would be possible to connect the inner part with the "decor" it would add a lot of space, it also has a place under and above the control room. 4) Add more improvements to the seal's control interface (like a hologram, the ability to turn on lights, weapons, protection, cloaking) maybe it would be better to add improvements in the form of these improvements. Because the seal supports 8 improvements but only 4 are used.5) I am not sure, but is it possible to make it possible to build partitions between the walls if they will seem "very big" (if you add point 3)

The sub I want is the Cyclops XL. A Cyclops that is a little longer that can dock a Seamoth and a Prawn at the same time.

Unfortunately, I think for something much larger than a Cyclops, the entire map would have to change for it to make sense. There's not enough space for something much better. You start running into not being able to maneuver around properly.

(Unless I need to but that's very unlikely considering that there's barely anything there. Apart from huge space for your base and leviathan threats. So no thank you.)

I feel like Seel Team’s name is a possible reference to the Seal Teams of the US Navy. In particular probably Seal Team Six, likely the most well known one. They’re basically an elite special forces unit. It’s probably spelled differently to avoid legal or naming issues. Regardless this mod is so awesome! Thanks for showing it off!

This is literally all my subnautica sub dreams come true. I'm not sure if it's already in the recipe or not but I think they should put ion cubes in the recipe. Also they should make 2 "big base pieces" possible so you can run alien containment and bioreactor together. Also I think you should be able to put the thingy to craft seamoth and prawn upgrades (I don't know what it's called) in the sub. They should also add a 4th speed that is emergency speed and make the other 3 normal.

I'm probably in the minority but I think the vehicles are great. the Cyclops can be kitted out just about any way you like from a mining ship, rescue, luxury yacht, freighter, or research. So other subs in it's class would basically be "The cyclops but shaped different" The only addition that makes sense to me is the big atlas that actually needs a crew to operate. But that only makes sense in a multiplayer game.

Yeah, it's a little hard to make a new niche with a sub...the big advantage I can see to the Seel here is that you have a lot more room for storage, with a trade-off that it's a lot, well, bigger. You'd definitely need a void to go explore into with this boi.

What I'd like to see more of in terms of vehicles are more medium sized subs that are cheaper/more specialized than the Cyclops. I've always felt the cyclops is a bit too big, but I am pretty claustrophillic. Of course, the problem would be finding a use for such a submarine that the existing ones don't already cover. Maybe give it a small room that has some sort of utility such as being a mobile scanner room or something. I suppose the sea truck fits this area a bit, but I feel that often just becomes an awkward mobile hallway.

Void exploration, like a fully fleshed out Void map and biome with its own various leviathans would be cool to explore with this thing. Maybe we could even get a new seamoth class vehicle to do more precise and up close exploration in the Void. I'd really like that.

Imagine using this with the Hydra in the call of the void mod you're working on? Just use the SEAL to get to the first 2 islands and get between the void and the shallows, allowing you to have your base come down into the void with you so you're more engrained with it. Hell, maybe even have an integration with the 2 mods so that not even the Cyclops can get down there, make the precursor tech in the SEAL a part of how you get into the void

Mod should be classified as beta stage at best. If you read on their discord infos of latest patch you will get all the info you need : "1. BUG FIX Docked vehicles flying away (implemented a safety check to stop it from getting pushed away beyond 20m. Fixing the actual problem itself would require a backend unity change, which is unfeasible for a mod) 2. BUG FIX Pink UI (when loading a save without quitting to menu, the UI would have a pink color and be largely uninteractable. This was because the cyclops prefab was unloaded between save loads, so we now clear any cached materials to fix stale references) 3. BUG FIX Base pieces would vanish from either the sub or any built bases when the player loaded a save from either inside the sub (removing non-sub base pieces) or outside the sub (removing base pieces from within the sub) 4. If considering using this in a playthrough be warned; your base is at risk of pulling a Houdini (disappearing) and the sub sometimes freaks out and launches through the stratosphere!" In most politely manner said, from my perspective, this is a deeply frivolous approach to a mod that got highly positive eye catch of many players and lovers of Subnautica 1.
