Nice, i seen this months ago but passed because it didn't actually state the DH cert, only the very basic cert.. So i think the 3 best FF helmets are This, Dainese linea 01( can be had for 150-180 if ordered through European vendor) Orher being the new Limar Livigno at 250

I'm on the upper end of the medium size, and buying a medium has never worked well for me in any helmet or gloves. Now I'm torn, because I've never purchased a full face MTB helmet. Thoughts? Head is 58cm
@HippieMTB2 ай бұрын
@@sd5458 my head is 58 and always bought a size up. Full face you want snug so but the medium. There are different cheek pads they give you. Also if it doesn’t fit you can always return it. But I’m 58cm and my medium is perfect

One of the reasons pricier helmets cost more is due to use of carbon fibre, also som pricy helmets even have two shells, one rotating on top of the other, some are both a half face and a full face in one, so it's switchable.

This is the best deal MSRP. I’ll be more clear about that. The Leatt ones are on sale for 150.00 but MSRP is about 300 for those. This helmet comes in at that price not on sale.

@@HippieMTB Leatt Enduro 4.0 costs 373,91, Leatt Gravity 8.0 V22 514,16USD, but I see 24 MX has it on sale, but that helmet has carbon shell, metal mesh, emergency pull out cheek pads.

Whats the weight/grams for this helmet In sure around 750g?
@HippieMTB8 ай бұрын
Hey how's it going? I do not know the weight to this helmet. It is very light. Comparable to the Fox Pr Frames weight. I need to invest in a scale so I can start adding weight.
@MichaelRobibaro8 ай бұрын
@@HippieMTB thanks Just went back to the sites states just under 750G so I'd lable it was medium weight helmet since the two lightest are 570+590g Heavy being 900-1000g like leate dh 1.0 and fly racing rayce

Do you know what they mean by ''D-ring thicknesses''? Their promo video was junk. It clearly does not have D-ring buckle. This does not give an good first impression. As for the price, Leatt has a DH rated helmet too, Leatt Gravity 1.0 DH about the same price, actually cheaper, cus they don't have extra price for different colours like on amazon. The cost will be higher with the shipping, and will likely take longer that me ordering a Leatt helmet for less money and shipped in 2 days from Germany to Norway. I have it. Who knows this might be a decent helmet. But I am a fan of D ring so this is not for me.
@HippieMTB Жыл бұрын
Yeah I was confused about that as well. D ring are what the cheek pads and inner liner use to snap the padding in. I was flabbergasted too. I learned that Outdoor master is in china and they manufactured everything there. Makes sense why the American Ski team would source their helmets from them. lol. Appreciate the comments.
