Awesome to see you do a Hasselblad video, been loving the 55v and really haven’t felt the need to get another lens until they make something really telephoto (probably around 85-100 in full frame terms)

I'd rather have a 50mm or 85mm f/1.2 (neither of which do I have) for my Nikon Z8 and its measly FF sensor than a f/3.4 on a medium format.

@@koningslakkie2498 i dont think thats how the law of diminishing return work
@koningslakkie249819 күн бұрын
What do you mean? What I meant is this: Moving from APS-C to full-frame, you're paying 2-3 times more for the body and lenses, but you gain a noticeable 1-1.5 stops in image quality, plus additional 'pro' features. However, the jump from full-frame to medium format comes with another 2-3x price hike. What's the return on that? Sure, you get higher resolution-around 50MP to 100MP-but doubling the megapixels doesn’t double the perceived image quality. Full-frame still offers advantages like shallower depth of field, a wider lens selection with more versatile zoom ranges, faster cameras, lower noise, and quicker autofocus. Objectively, this could even be considered a case of diminishing or negative returns. In many scenarios, full-frame objectively outshines medium format.

4:10 Here we go again with the BS of sensor size influencing DOF (or focal lenght, also BS). No, the only one thing influencing DOF is the phyiscal size of the apperture hole. (More correctly the area of the entrance pupil.) This 75mm/3.4 lens has a hole of (N=f/D) 22,0588 mm. Every other lens of the same entrance pupil will have the same DOF. No matter its focal lenght and no matter what size of a sensor happens to be behind it! The calculation you made is correct, but the reason the 60 mm lens has to be of N=2.686 is not the sensor size but the fact that you need to have this apperture number to get that 22.0588 mm diameter entrance pupil on a 60 mm lens.

hello handsome, could you please review the Sony A99II please, i find it to be the peak of Sony Alpha, it went all downhill from there... like mirrorless freezing, unable to shoot uncompressed raw above 6fps, 4kviewfinders lowering to 720p when the camera is focusing or stabilizing... etc
@RegrinderAlert21 күн бұрын
There is no 4K viewfinder on the market. The highest resolution EVFs are 2048 x 1536 pixels - a far cry from 4K.
@kingghidorah810620 күн бұрын
@RegrinderAlert Sony a7rV has a 9 million dot viewfinder, same as A7SIII, that is not just 4k but higher... and the standard resolution for high end cameras is 3.6 million dot viewfinders like the Nikon Z6 ii, or the Canon R5 with 5.76 millions
@RegrinderAlert20 күн бұрын
@@kingghidorah8106 You are misunderstanding. Dots are not pixels, three dots make one RGB pixel, so you have to divide by three. If you ever looked through a viewfinder you would immediately notice 😂 Check the specsheet if you don’t believe me.
@kingghidorah810620 күн бұрын
@RegrinderAlert uh i think you're right. How quacky marketing wording can be! This makes A7RV 's EVF just slightly above Full HD resolution 🤮

Why the laughable statement about Hasselblad sending you a camera and a lens implying they did not so for you to make a video or not telling you what you have to say? If it was not for the reason of making a video they would send us all a camera and a lens for free. Also sending it to you implies that if you do not say what they want to hear you will not get a camera/lens the next time. Totally useless and a big BS the disclaimer.
