I had those mirrors on my 2017 and had to buy a wire harnesses to have them work properly. I also bought a jumper wire to have the cargo lamps turn on along with the lights in the mirrors turn on when I put in reverse.

Boost auto parts sells door wiring harness kits for the gm trucks to make switchbacks like factory when truck wasn’t equipped with them from the factory. Kit runs about $50

Lol i just did this switchback on my f150 and i definitely was nervous taking the mirrors off but i learned to use a flathead on the bracket that connects to the back of the mirror and comes off pretty easy

Get a 1/2" air valve with 1/2" hose and it will be louder than a train horn

Pretty much all horns call for 5/16 airline, 3/8 is the biggest you can do safely without worrying about damaging horns over time, also all the airtanks are 3/8 already so you would have to find an adapter for horn and compressor which would be a hassle

Dovetailing the rear fenders for that dirtking rear bumper won’t be too hard! Definitely worth it. And be careful on the slippery slope of the amber grill lights, kind of overdone these days, but if they’re just on the feniex remote I’m all for it. Love all the builds!
