Like if someone was good at mkx they would absolutely destroy you. people like to complain about all the broken stuff but i thought that's what made it fun. matches were way more intense, the run button allowed crazy pressure and combo creativity, set variations were way better, meter system was far better than an auto fill meter and rewarded players for being aggressive. Mk9 was also great in its own way as it played super fast and was just more fluid feeling than mk11. Netherrealm needs to stop making characters play like they weigh 1000 lbs and making button inputs feel like they take forever.

- MK9: Kenshi is the one I spent the most time with so far. Love the telekinesis combos and just how satisfying the character feels. I plan to learn Smoke, really dig his anti-keepaway style in MK9 - Injustice: Catwoman is super fast and the pounces look cool - MKX: Sektor is just so fast and fun, can't get enough. But honestly, pretty much the whole MKX cast is incredible. I wanna learn Tanya, Mileena, Erron Black, Alien sometime - MK11: Noob 'cause he looks cool, Sonya for the punchy punch combos. I'm not as experienced with 11 as previous MKs, this could change I haven't played Injustice 2 yet.

My favorite combo to do with mileena is in her ethereal variation. Jumping 2, standing 4, vanish, standing 4, vanish, standing 4 into amp tele-kick, air sai, forward 2,3, ball roll and than back 2,2, 1+3 or standing 4 up 3 1+2

My own list: MK9: Rain. I didn't how fighting games worked yet, but I knew it was fun to combo all his specials together. Injustice: Nightwing. I loved swapping movesets and continue to be sad he didn't make it into the sequel. MKX: Raiden. I liked doing things like teleporting mid string and catching people off guard. You'd think they'd catch on. Injustice 2: Green Arrow. The fact that I could hold my own up close or blast them from a distance felt so good. MK11: Shao Kahn was my main until Joker came out. Shao was terrible which made wins feel so much better. Joker, though, was so irritating to people online, for some reason. If there's one thing I like, it's getting hate messages after a match.

NR is gonna have a very hard time making a better version of Mileena than in MKX. Her design and costumes are incredible. I know she isn't supposed to be beautiful in the face but good lord she looks fantastic with lips. And well, her gameplay was insanely fun in all variations. Same, she had some awesome super flashy combos in MKX, especially in the assassin variation. Definitely one of the most fun characters to use in MKX. Then I tried her in MK11 and my disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined. I probably just need to learn how to play her but still.

@@Witcherino what makes MK11 Kitana boring is that she doesn't have her klassic fan toss combos (mid-screen and meterless). Upward fan toss is the closest experience you can relate to MK9 and MKX. I say "the closest" because there is just no comparison to what she could get back in those two games. Kitana without fan toss combos is not Kitana.

Fighting games went from being a genre I didn't understand to now being my favorite ever. I've been playing them for about nine years now. Anyways, my favorite characters in each NRS fighting game since Mk9 are: Mk9: Smoke. His combo game was so fun, especially if you got the reset. Injustice gods among us: The Flash. He's my second favorite hero of all time and his entire gameplay is my favorite period. Mkx: Grandmaster Sub-Zero. I loved the corner mixups with the ice klone. As well as the potential high damaging combos when utilizing said klone properly. Injustice 2: Green Arrow or Gorilla Grodd. I know weird combination but I loved Ollie's potential corner damage with the arrows as well as is solid versatility. Gorilla Grodd was so fun to learn and his long combos and potential conspicuous mixups were a joy to perform. Honorable mention to Blue Beetle. Mk11: Spawn. It's not even close for me as Spawn has the most combo potential with krushing blows with his Soul Forfeit and I loved his entire character design in the game. If I had to pick someone else it would either be Joker, Noob Saibot, or Shao Kahn.

MK9 - Johny Cage (simply because of his restand. Mind you I hardly played any MK9 outside of versus, and even there I messed around, recently getting back into the game, it's fun to play around with his moves) Injustice - Ares (At this point I still didn't understand fighting games very well, and to me Ares just looked amazing, and this was one of the first fighting games, I still messed around a lot in this game with my sibling) MKX - Kenshi (It was with this game that I started to understand fighting games and some of the different mechanics, swords were always cool to me and this character had nice variations, a nice mention was Kung Lao) Injustice 2 - Blue Beetle and Robin (I loved playing this characters as they were faster to move around the screen and just around the enemy, also the combos were nice to play around with) MK11 - Kung Lao (This character was definitely where I spent the most time, though he might not have the flashiest looks he definitely has some nice combos that look really nice, and do decent damage. I also started playing online recently, and though I am getting destroyed it's fun to see other's playstyles, as well as how other Kung Lao's have played.) MK vs DCU - Darksied or Scorpion - This game was definitely way before I started really playing fighting games, and was actually my first fighting game, and definitely one of my most played games at the time next to maybe Minecraft. With this game I got to spend time with my cousin online, and was definitely a huge help with introducing myself to the internet, and the several advantages. Though I never did play very well, I had a ton of fun with Scorpion against my cousin always playing SubZero, the rage mode was definitely unfair though.)

Mk9 imma go with Johnny cage, I just really enjoyed the way he played, plus I was young and didn't know the more sweaty things. Injustice 1, my choice is batgirl, once again I only found out she was top tier later in life, I just enjoyed her from the comics. Mkx, my honest choice is takeda and he is to this day my favorite kombat kid. Loved his gameplay Injustice 2, black canery, enchantress, I know u said 1 but these to were equally loved by me so yea,canery for those juicy combos and enchantress for those kind games. Mk11, is stuck to cassie cage, for me it's just cause I felt I could make many different viable builds that worked for me. There's my list. Critique to your hearts content

MK9: I was too young to be good at MK9 but Ermac for sure was my favorite. His combos were simple enough for a young me to kind of understand. Injustice: Ares was the first fighting game character I ever learned to be good with, he will forever hold that place in my heart. MKX: Judge me if you want but Alien was SO goddamn fun to play, helps that he was also OP since I never got good at MKX. Injustice 2: Darkseid is easily one of the most badass characters to play in any Netherrealm game. Also his customization made him look extra badass. MK11: Kotal Kahn. Kotal is by far my favorite fighting game character ever because I absolutely sucked with him at first. I had to put serious effort into learning him since I'd never played a character like him before but I knew just because of his Aztec theme that I would make him my main. For me Mk9. Quan chi (i liked playing as him) And sonya, her pressure mixups and overall damage made her really good and fun Injustice1. Lex luthor, he was also fun and his mixups were good, Shazam, i loved his trait Mkx. Sektor, and quan chi (I didn't get into quan chi until he got nerfed) Injustice2, swamp thing and captain cold, i maintain my opinion that swamp thing is really good, you have to guess whether his string will end with a crossup a low or an overhead ( what with swampy's log kick, bio fusion, or just finishing his combo normally) I also got into cold without ever seeing sonic flox use him Mk11. Baraka and kollector, Baraka has insane damage and his leg kabob move gives him good mixups, And all about kollector was explained in the dog of under's video.

My list would have to go. Keep in mind I didnt play the Injustice games. MK9 - Skarlet, just loved the combos you could get, as well as just having a new character albeit from dlc. Was a Jade player till then. MKX - Cassie Cage, I was a hardcore Mileena player for the reasons you touched. Brawler variation for Cassie when I gave it a whirl was such a natural fit for my playstyle. MK11 - D'Vorah, I know, i know, sacrilegious of a former Mileena player. Still D'Vorah's design was way better here, and I started to really appreciate the Kytinn as a cool new race. Plus she kills Scorpion, how can you not like a character that's a walking salt harvester like her? Lol

Sonya and Kitana in mk9. Batgirl in Injustice. Tanya and Mileena in MKX. Poison Ivy in Injustice 2 and Jade & Mileena in MK11. I tend to lean towards female characters and these were the most fun characters for me to play as.

My character list MK9 smoke and rain. Usually I main smoke but for tag team I have rain the reason why is because I got used to him and I made a #100 combo with both of with only two bars. MKX Triborg. He was my only most favorite in that game compared to me not only because of the smoke variation witch was the one I maind alot but the others variations I got used to on day 1. MK11 noob saibot. I was going to put fujin or rain but there combo damage is low and I don't kind of like it only noob saibot made me feel like a top tier main plus after I got his classic ninja costume I made the mask almost grey and I named the variation noob & smoke. Injustice gods ඩා Ares. He was the most fun for his trait just felt so badass and cool and I loved his ultimate. Injustice 2 Scarecrow. I was going to use red hood but Scarecrow felt more better the reason why I picked him was because like what under dawg said he was the scariest up close.

I have my own list of most amazing characters. Mk9: i completly agree, reptile is the best character in all the game, i love that speedy lizard. Injustice 1: i absolutely love playing as Bane, idk i love being a pile of muscles that obliterates the opponent's health bar i a simple string or combo, nothing is better that read the opponent to do the perfect grab and metl him. MKX: i have to admit it, i have some sort of love to big damage dudes, in this case my choise as most amazing character is ferra/torr, that couple just dominates when they touch you, specially in the ruthless variation, it's so much fun to throw ferra to the opponents and crushing them as torr. Injustice 2: i had problems to chose the most amazing character but i finally decides to chose darkseid, this big boy has the most flashy combos of the game in my opinion, summoning a demon to extend the combo is nuts. MK11: For this one i had a really weird choise, my most amazing character is kollector. No one plays him, but i love to destroy opponents with his combos, i also love how syncronized his arms are. Also Kollector's fashion is the best of the game, he has everything, including my love.

5:40 i like your videos man but sometimes I kind of wonder what level you really played this game at. That move should never be used to extend combos unless it's a kill. That command grab alone is what made her a useful character as you should use it to end combos and the way you do is a crossover jumping two. The crossover jumping two allowed you to air dash back the other direction and then you could land and either do a overhead or a low to do a whole other combo because the counter would reset giving you tons of damage. Or you could do a jumping two land and the move was plus enough on hit to where you could wait for a second and do another overhead or a low to restart a whole new combo and they wouldn't be able to do anything because no moves came out fast enough. She was a nightmare when someone had a full meter because you had to take the Mix-Ups not to mention she could also mix you up by using another bar to do the command grab as it was unblockable.
