EDIT: So literally a week after I uploaded this video, every single Miniverse product containing resin has been recalled! They violated the Federal Hazardous Substances Act and the recall affects 21million kits across the USA.
This is a review of a miniature food kit that I found in China! It reminds me a lot of the dollhouse kits that I made years ago. The final step of those kits was usually making some very simple lifestyle accessories or foods using papercrafts and beads. That was actually my favourite part of all so it's great to find a kit that focuses solely on the smaller items. Another thing this product really reminds me of is, of course, Miniverse. When I started watching KZbin, my favourite genre was mini food DIYs (anyone remember Toniellison and Sugarcharmshop?!) The trend was always around but Miniverse managed to bring it into the mainstream. But I've never been a fan of UV resin and just the smell alone should be able to tell you it's not the most harmless material to be using. I like how this kit sticks with very classic techniques like clay, deco den and papercrafts but still with impressive results.

When you open a taba bag, I usually take out the staples very carefully so after I’ve played with the squishy I can insert it back into the bag and re-staple it back together.😊

I think since this kit includes so many DIYs and that they can be pretty neatly split into types it would be fun to do them with a friend or two. Everyone can do one of each or more so no one is missing out. Also it's just so cute and quality, makes me very happy.

As someone who’s an adult and enjoys resin crafts AND has bought mini verse toys, it’s odd to me that it’s directed at children. They seem like something you’d find at Michael’s in a more mature package or at least with bigger warnings. Maybe teens or young adults, but the fun colors and loud marketing just give me mixed signals. However, I know my younger cousins would love these diy kits and I’d feel safer knowing they’re not touching toxic materials

Thank you! I find Xiaohongshu (sometimes called Red in English) is really useful because almost all the viral clips reposted on Tiktok and Instagram are from there. There's a basic english version of Xiaohongshu so anyone can use it without knowing Chinese. It looks almost identical to Instagram Reels and easy to navigate. Other than that, I'm on Tiktok a lot and it's still a great place to find out about all kinds of trends first. Another thing I do is surf Amazon.co.jp regularly, sort of like window shopping. The search function doesn't work well so you just need to click from product to product. However you can stumble across some amazing gems on there and a lot have international shipping. I can easily tell by the reviews and number of stars if is a japanese product is popular and also auto-translate some of the reviews.

I always wear latex (and one time latex-free) gloves when i put together miniverse stuff, but I wear a size slightly too small for my hands if that makes sense? It just makes them tight on my hands so it doesn’t feel like my hands are a size too big 😁

I dont think there is an english version, as the notifications, ads, and listings are all chinese. Not sure if you need a chinese address to download that, but you might have to use a translator. Hope this helps!
