If you do come across a hive of angry bees you can often tell, then they would put on protective gear.
@s.s.91492 жыл бұрын
They freak me out too but only because I have an anaphylactic allergy to them, and can't afford an epi-pen. I know they don't want to sting me and die, and I get more comfortable with them around me the older I get, I'm almost 41. If it weren't for the severity of my allergy I wouldn't hesitate to keep a hive in my yard because those terrifying little beauties are essential to life on this planet, and they deserve to be saved. I still might add one and find someone to help me take care of it.

It's all about moving smoothly and calmly, and no sudden movements. Which I figure would be difficult for you because of what happened in the past, but if you ever encounter some bees just do your best to at least act calm. That's how I've never been stung by a bee. Now, wasps on the other hand, run. They are mean. Bees are just trying to protect their hive and queen and other bees, wasps are just sadistic creatures.

While I was still in elementary school I figured out you can essentially walk up to any bee on a plant (as long as it wasn't frustrated, such as when the bee has struggled to get into a tough flower) and put your hand under then slowly pull your hand up until holding that critter. If they aren't African/a killer hybrid, they really do tend to be very docile... getting into their hive being one area this isn't always the case (defense). Key is being, yourself, non-aggressive, calm and non-anxious: not just acting like it, you really have to be calm.

@ledumpsterfire6474 Жыл бұрын
@@infinitelink I'm fairly confident they can sense when you're agitated, whether it's a pheromone thing or whatever else. I've never had a fear of bees, and I don't know how many I've picked up with my bare hand to take outside. My S.O. tried it once, and she does have a pretty extreme fear of them but thought it would help after seeing me do it so many times, and having me walking her through it. She got stung. I know dogs react differently to sweat from humans based on whether the person was angry or fearful, so there has to be something detectable that we give off.

My beloved, you must have eyes like an electron microscope to be able to find a queen in the midst of that swarm! Truly another great day of saving the beeeezzz!

And they ran into the hive to be with their queen and they lived happily ever after. Her voice sounds like I’m listening to a bed time story 🥰

So, the Kansas State Fair has a big honey and bee display (I was obsessed with their honey for years, turns out I'm allergic due to overexposure ig) but at the last fair, they had the usual honey comb display with bees inside, where you had to search for the queen. Before this year, I had never managed to find the queen, but after watching your videos, it was so easy to spot the queen. I pointed her out to so many people, all of them were shocked lol

This is the best unintentional ASMR ever I love her voice I love how she says certain words, especially bees and most importantly, I’m allergic to bee stings, so I’m terrified of bees, but watching the professional do things like this, makes it easier
