Death in volcana: skilled player willing to kill anyone so they can play. Beginning of new run: attack a random person and try to get a reaction from them so they can make them look toxic. Rest: attempt to annoy, kill and torture other players for no reason. My guess is that they knew who you were and tried to kill you so they could get some popularity, the hate type of popularity. They have no reason to attack purely you for no reason other than being alive longer than them.
