IN tube frame battery bike have low energy density and limited range and speed. Batteries tend to run out fast in highest speed modes. Advantages hard to steal the battery if locked if left outside. Battery is protected from the elements, dirt dust. I have them. I more than test them. A Band Velcro piece solved your cable issue wrap around the frame. Always deflate tire to 5 PSI and get Green slime tire sealant online or at Walmart especially when riding at high desert environments period. Years of don't do that. Also a spring seat and a shock stem are a must. Modify your bike do not depend on the manufacturer of an e-bike to create comfort. Pretty basic stuff. Fat tires inflated to 35 PSI get near Double the range of a fat tire at 19 PSI. The ride gets hard bumps and cracks are hard on your back.

Thats a cool ebike, great price. For $100 more right now I would go for the F2 Foldable Electric Bike 2.0. 500w motor, that would be fun to put against the Lectric XP 3.0. Great looking ebikes GOTRAX has. Have to check the Warranty. Texas company you can't go wrong with that. Excellent review.

I have an R1 which is essentially the same bike. My issue is aligning the steering. Every minor bump I hit knocks out the alignment off center. Aside from adjusting the clamp on the steering tube is there a better or correct way to make the steering straight and tight. I must be doing something wrong here. Appreciate any help.

on the plus side it is a comparatively light bike. there are some better performing folding bikes but are way too heavy at or over 100lbs, heavier than a non-folding bike. i find those 100+lb ridiculous since wasn’t the whole point of designing a folding bike for portability and to save space?

It's obviously a Lectric XP Lite knock off. However Lectric is the company I would trust. Cost isn't everything. i PREDICT a new XP Lite 2.0 with a carbon belt drive and they will have no competition in this class at that point.

Quick question: Are you guys based in the states? I live in eastern WA and was wandering what the laws and restrictions are for riding E Scooters (specifically for the Roadrunner Pro since it looks like a bike but is classified as a scooter). The laws on government websites are so confusing and doesn't make sense. It'd be awesome if you can make a full video explaining this for individuals wanting to get into riding. No one else on KZbin seems to help. Edit: stuff like drivers/ motorcycle license required or not, age/weight restriction, speed limitations, road legality; pretty much e scooters for dummy's but from the very beginning

I wonder when someone is going to make an e-bike 35-45 LB with 500-1000 watts motor. The Lectric one its such a nice ebike but at 63LB is just to heavy.

You're thinking of the XP 2.0/3.0. The XP Lite is under 50lbs, pretty much exactly like this Gotrax. Also, don't be discouraged by the wattage on Lectric's bikes, they're the best in their class.

Do you still love that color display on a sunny day with your sunglasses on? I've had an ebike with that exact display and, imo, it's garbage. It's hard to see in the sun, doesn't show battery voltage, and besides the speed, all the other info is tiny and in blue on a black background, absolutely terrible readability! It's a dealbreaker.
