I really love using kensei and I hate how people think you have to dodge spam or light spam. I'm all about using his whole moveset, feints and all. He's a lot less brain dead to play than warden imo although warden is probably better than him.

I mean u don’t but let’s be honest Kensei doesn’t have much. He’s got a top heavy soft feint bash that is reactable on current gen (Ik know pc boys MOs def could react) and that slow as hell top heavy soft feint into side light. The rest of his moves are dependent on superior dodges, which, to me, are no different than deflects. His top heavy unblockable finisher is so slow that most casuals can tell if ur committing or feinting. Kensei is just bad. He MOs def needs a rework.

@@sancopg1919 Uh….😅 I don’t think Kensei is difficult to fight against. My point is if u are playing Kensei. He requires a bit of thought. There’s not much going for him. Light spamming and dodge attacking doesn’t work against casuals, especially if they’re on current gen/pc. Maybe newbies, but not casuals. I’ve never played comp, but you and I both know what’ll happen in that scenario 😂

A newbie with kensei like with any other character will probably be very bad, but kensei is a character with many feint and with many easy-to-use tools with which to have a good fight. I consider it to be underrated because it has to be played very calmly and few good players master it.
