1.1 Update! This build is no longer recommended. My first-hand experience is that while the AOE clear is still very strong, the single target dmg and the defenses have been considerably. The single target dmg of this build (even during 1.0) was never S-Tier; rather, it was an acceptable amount of single target paired with insane defenses and insane clearspeed. 1.1 Patch Notes: forum.lastepoch.com/t/last-epoch-harbingers-of-ruin-patch-notes/71790/8 1.1 Patch brought considerable nerfs to Ward across the board, and even more specific nerfs to the ward generation of HH. In addition, there is a "ninja nerf" to HH that is not included in the 1.1 Patch Notes: the "bane of evil" node that grants flat dmg per Healing Effect was cut in half. Putting all this together, the build still clears very well, but the single target will have you feel lacking. If you just want a build for 500 corruption and no Aberroth, this build is appropriate (and still very fun). An updated version of this build probably includes Twisted Heart, and will want to solve for Single Target Damage.

So for people not wanting to go Volatile reversal (because we hate it and it's a terrible button to press) I went with talented smite and put Javelin on my bar. So Javelin banner auto cast the talented smites when you go down the right side of the tree. So you get the huge dmg bonus from using Javelin/banner + smite in the talent tree has a 20% cast speed, crit multi etc so it really helps with single target dmg. Not to mention the auto smites are also applying "blind" for another ailment more ignites for overall more dmg with cast speed buff. Javelin/Smite scales with everything we using. Feels good I like it, has good build options to expand on. (also don't have to waste 5 points in the VK tree.)

@@gotjumps1 Just made one for you just really going over the talents of Smite/Jav. I don't have a full build planner or my gear loaded. However everything is the same for the most part as Perry but taking 5 points out of VK and putting into Pally for more attunement. Then there is synergy to explore with Jav/Smite as I said. Since smite also scales with Fire/Spell/Attune. I'll link below this comment in case links are tunred off in comments. If links are turned off which is commons since I turn off links in comments on my channel. For smite just go over and grab the 20% cast on left then over and the dmg modifiers. For Jav just go over too the right side grab banner then the smits nodes at bottom. This way when you drop banner Smite hits and you get the 20% cast speed and huge dmg boost from self casting Jav and banner buffs from stacking attunement.

Melee healing hands build with divine bolts on a void knight is also very smooth. Better single target than casted healing hands, and really decent clear with the divine bolts. Void knight with the echo procs is great, and I find it much better than the rive to proc healing hands version.

Have a no LP Scales because a 1 LP Scales of Eterra with 6% crit starts at 400 mil. Everything in this build cause it's so fun to play cost 1 bil now basically. The idols are 1 bil each too so I can't get armor shred there. Wild. Great video though because you give plenty of options for people to explore that can't get the basic gear in MG cause it's too expensive.

I never minded it and think if a game is good items selling for 10 grand cash is fine and likely more helpful for the games success. (maybe and unpopular opinion) However as a long time D2 players I find it to be true. I think D2 has the best End Game in history because trading is End Game. If there are valuable items to farm to trade, then it's a good ARPG and it's End Game is endless. I think what keeps players loggin into ARPGs is finding that Ultra Rare drop that is priceless to sell/trade or use for a Godly build.

Ninja nerfed to the ground without any patch notes (Urgent Healing node before +140, now +80. Bane Of Evil node before +2 damage for every 10% of heal effectiveness, now +2 for 20%). But build still steamroll mobs at 200+ corruption.

the build is very gear depended, and good very luck to find all those items lp2 without buying from MG . Expect around 2 weeks farming every day to achieve that gear , I would say even 1 month.

Could someone explain how to get the projectiles shoot all the time when you spam healing hands? I am levelling this build, I am lvl 62 with all the gear, none has been slammed yet, all the skills are at lvl 18 at the moment but when I spam HH it shoots the projectiles occasionally. Is it the +4 to HH slammed to the helmet ? Maybe something else? Thanks for any help!

I have yet to see someone beating my Sentinel/Void Knight build in solo. I think I'm the only Void Knight in the world with solo rating of over 2.5k corruption. I have yet to see someone push more corruption than me on Void Knight in solo play. Highest I've seen was a guy with 1.6k with some kind of a hybrid Paladin Void Knight build.

I'd call this "forever windup build" and I'd call a void smite/healing hands a "whack a mole" build I'm playing right now. Actually having to wind up defenses before engaging is very inconvenient on some "corridor" maps if you're checking loot regularly. In that regard overall Hit Damage builds are faster then DOT builds.

While this build is fun and nicely lazy. I found that with my gear (which is average to good) it deals VERY low damage. Just warning anyone whose gear might not be as amazing as what we see here. I will this. I cannot believe Warlock's got their absurd Ward generation nerfed while HH was left untouched. Pressing right mouse for 5k Ward is ludicrous OP.

With wards just being OP I went ahead and make a Healing Hands based Vengeance Dual-Wield build. Lunge to jump around. I rounded it out with Sigils and Holy Aura. Sure, boss fights take forever, but I never die. No shield. Why use a shield as a paladin when ward exists? Just tank the hits and use more melee attack speed. You'll only die if you stop attacking. As bad as ward is, IMHO the skill they really need to fix is Volatile Reversal. It's really dumb that every Sentinel build uses it and basically has to use it because it buffs every build more than skills in the Paladin tree that are actually designed to be buff skills.

This is an awesome build, but aesthetically you might as well be playing a spell caster. I mean you are, but Paladin is defined as a warrior whose combat skills are enhanced by divine magic, not replaced by it.

Nah, this build is legit so visually pleasing to look at, and I would never have considered Sentinel/Paladin to be the class for that. That being said, ward generation is getting out of control with more and more builds. O_O It'll have to be addressed soon or people are going to be walking around with essentially 200k ward characters eventually. O_O

@@PerrythePig Wow, might wanna give it a go. I still love the rive hit feedback when going melee. Only downside is the ward falls off when there are no mobs to hit and this divine bolt build rids that weakness as you are constantly casting on self to keep ward up.

As soon as I read the text for the divine bolt node on Healing Hands, I knew that shit was gonna be busted. Taking a break from building my VK to play my other crack addiction in PoE. I just hope in 1.1 they buff some weak stuff as well, it'd feel kinda bad if they only nerf things per cycle (I don't count bug fixes as buffs or nerfs)

OK - had a lvl 100 Healing Hands Paladin. Swapped over to this build with unoptimized gear on hand. Entered my 600 corruption mono and slowly killed everything with 25k ward and never near getting hurt. And I use a controller, so this made my day. Monster pain = high. Wrist pain = low.

to get it more beautiful if you make a void knight and use melee healing hands without using a melee attack like rive to proc echo and extra beams then you can quadruple the amount of beams coming out :) that is what i think is more beautiful. Damage is still meh with amazing tanking, but you said more beautiful in your video xD

I just logged in for the first time in a few weeks, and I think they must've nerfed the shit out of this build because I can't even complete 100 corruption bosses anymore. I'm getting really sick of games nerfing builds after I've spent hundreds of hours on them. I feel like I'm either going to have to start looking for single-player RPGs that are released complete and don't get updates, or just give up playing RPGs completely.

Maybe the build didn't change, but something about the game has changed. I've tested this with multiple timeline bosses now, and I've been getting my ass handed to me left and right. There are multiple that I used to be able to facetank at corruption lvl 100 but now I'm getting killed very easily. I've had to walk my corruption levels back down to 100 and I'm still getting my ass handed to me.

One thing I didn't see explained is how healing hands is casting Divine Bolts every single cast for him. For me it only casts divine bolt 10% of the time.

you need to heal yourself in order to proc the bolts. Make sure you have the glove affix (and also the node in HH that makes the spell AOE always target your character)

Lunge spec'd and Lunge unspec'd are basically the same. You can split the difference however you'd like to -- this is just what I found comfortable.

do you think its worth to drop decree of flame and 1 point in invigorate to get 1 extra sigil? regarding your ailments you could put 1 point into blinding light to apply blind ailment. there is also a build variant with unbroken prayer that is a nice alternative and viable.

a pretty good nerf, though i don't think it was warranted. This build performs well at 500 corruption for clearspeed, but going higher than that, or wanting good single target damage, i would no longer recommend it .

first 3 are all % Increase damage, which is all one bucket. Healing effect is flat damage, which is like the implicit on a wand or staff.

the flat damage gained from stacking Healing Effect has been halved. I'd stay away from it, unless you want to test with Legacy Gear. I think theres just better stuff to be doing
