First of all, cool video. Good work and thank you for providing us watch addicts with interesting updates. One thing I would like to say is that on a dive watch, mineral crystal has its place. Various people have mentioned this on different reviews and forums. However, that being said, I do see the point of putting a sapphire crystal on it because it would make it more attractive to all the desk divers out there, who, in truth, are the majority of those that buy divers. Meanwhile I pulled the trigger on its plainer cousin in blue ( BN0151-17L) and I love it. Will just have to be a bit more careful!!

Apparently, mineral glass is used as it flexes under pressure where as sapphire can fracture. Not sure if true but thats what I was told by a watch maker.

No, in 20 years the solar cell is death and you get no replacement for the cell in the color of the dial, but an automatic movement can be replaced with ease....

I already have the promaster automatic diver NY0085 and i love it, it's my most worn watch in 2024. But i bought the Promaster Unite With Blue on a sale at a local jeweller in my hometown two weeks ago after sneeking around it for half a year, and it never left my wrist since. The only thing i've done was to put other rubber straps on it (white and blue, both FKM-straps from aliexpress). I too cant't stop looking at it, what a beautiful watch. I was lucky to get it under 300 Euros, the prices online are getting higher every week 🙂

Stunning watch!! I may get it despite the size (I have Casio Duro which also is 44mm in dial size)...I bought the 37mm Pro Diver in blue a couple of days ago (and the strap is more light blue than dark). A great watch, very sweet and sturdy. Does the job. I wonder if they would do a 37mm watch with this mesmerizing dial??? Would buy it in a flash... The 37mm fits well on a smaller wrist (guy's or girl's). Am so gratfeul there are smaller diver's watches being made. Citizen is a brand I had ignored until recently thinking they were just too big and bit boring, but they are evolving so well at the moment. I also like the Turle Titanium one, the square which just looks so quirky! Thank you for a fun review. I love your (manly!) excitement. 😁

Yeah citizen are great quality and value, but all oversized, except the japanese domestic versions. 37mm girl versions looks nice, especially that girly pink one lol.

Is the strap cracking at the safety bar? See 7:19 in the video. I'm going to buy this watch and will put a different strap on it anyway. But that is concerning if it shipped with a new but cracked strap.

I've been waiting on this release. I love the dial and white chapter ring, but I don't care for the green on the bezel - would prefer an all blue bezel. I've had a BN0151 for 8 plus years. It's the most reliable and durable watch I've ever owned.

Yea. I ordered it. The green part of the bezel insert is distracting. I wish it was all blue. Not sure if a keeper the green bezel insert section may be a dealbreaker for me

Beautiful dial. At that price the only negative is the crystal on this one. This is an active watch. It needs that sapphire crystal protection.

Love the style of this watch. Wish it’s super titanium and sapphire crystal. The steal case scratch very easily. I had a blue dial model of this one, didn’t wear it much and already has scratches on the case

Unfortunately Citizen failed to provide a saphire crystal. It's going to get scratched to hell. One unfortunate hit against something and you'll get a scratch.I would have bought it if it had saphire. Pass.

I think most people underestimate mineral glass, and also people overexagerrate the scratches that they get on these mineral crystals. Various tests have made it clear that although weaker than sapphire, mineral crystal deals quite well against most forms of external damages.

I love my citizens but they always like to skimp on the sapphire. The dial almost makes up for it but mineral scratches up too easily.

Its like with Seiko, they tell how many they will make and its LIMITED EDITION, even when you find it 50% off a year later as they were not able to sell them all, hehe. Also, if they do sell really well, they tend to make more of them anyways

I have the original black dial. It's a great, tough watch, but yeah. They put decent sapphire and ceramic bezel inserts in sub $100 Chinese watches. After three years mine is getting pretty scratched up. I'll mod it when it gets bad. Other than that, super accurate at plus less than 30 seconds per YEAR and no maintenance other than the date wheel and time changes.

20 is way better man. 22 is always overkill. I'm not sure what the issues would be--20mm with a taper is way more comfortable and looks better too.
