I played the piano from the age of 7 to 13 (my parents forced me to). After 22 years of not playing at all i started again after watching this video. After 6 month almost daily practice I can play this at almost same quality and 4 more masterpieces of coldplay etc. So guys, not only watch this, play this, everybody can learn this with a little effort. It's one of the best feelings in life when you get goosepumps while playing yourself an instrument.

I also startet playing piano because of this video. And even though I had no Idea how to play piano because I never played the piano bevor, I was so desperate to learn this masterpiece. And now nearly three months later after I started playing piano for the First time and learning this masterpiece as my first piece, i can play it literally 100% like she did. I am so happy and proud because I never thought that I will be able to play this in under 3 months with no experience bevor. But that proves that everyone can play anything if he really wants it with his whole heart and soul. You can achive anything if you really want to because my Goal was to be able to play that in under 3 months and i made. And if I made it so can you(sorry if my english is bad).

I've listened to this repeatedly trying to figure out why it's so much more emotionally wraught than some of the other more technically proficient renditions out there. I think it's because her dynamic control is absolutely masterful. She's not quite as precise with some of her fingerings as some other pianists, but her tonal and dynamic control puts all the rest to shame. She manages a slow and steady dynamic increase throughout the entire song just letting it build and build in tiny increments, and I find that type of precision to be far more impressive than a technically perfect performance - she makes that piano just bleed emotion through her art in a way no one else I have seen can with this song.

The young pianist at the public piano at a train station is a world away, yet her music transcends that distance, filling the room and my soul with a sound that's almost celestial. Her fingers, long and delicate like the legs of a spider, weave a complex web of notes that captures my entire being. It's as if she's pulling the very fabric of the universe through her fingertips, each note a star, each chord a galaxy. I'm not just listening; I'm experiencing a cosmic journey. I'm in the music, and the music is in me. "Interstellar" is a piece of music that transcends the boundaries of mere sound, evolving into an emotional and spiritual experience. Its composition is a masterful blend of intricate harmonies and ethereal melodies, creating a soundscape that feels both intimate and infinite. As the notes unfurl, they seem to tap into the very essence of the universe, capturing its complexity, beauty, and boundless nature. Listening to it is like embarking on a cosmic journey, where each chord is a stepping stone to a higher plane of existence. It's not just music; it's a sonic tapestry that weaves together the emotional and the celestial, inviting listeners to explore the "everythingness" that lies beyond the realm of human understanding. As she plays, I feel myself lifted, as if gravity has loosened its grip and allowed me to float freely through the cosmos. I'm soaring past planets and stars, through black holes and nebulae, propelled by the ethereal beauty of the melody. It's a spiritual ascension, a breaking free from the earthly bonds that tether me to this mortal realm. I'm in Nirvana, a state of perfect peace and happiness, like a lotus that has pushed its way through the mud to bloom in the full light of the sun. Tears of joy and wonder roll down my cheeks. I'm overwhelmed, not by sadness, but by a profound sense of unity and connection. I'm a part of something much larger than myself, something infinite and eternal. The "everythingness" of the universe is no longer a concept; it's a reality, and I'm a part of it. I'm not just a spectator; I'm a participant in this grand cosmic dance. As the final notes gently recede into silence, I'm left awash in a profound sense of awe and gratitude. The young pianist, her fingers a conduit for something far greater than mere music, has gifted me an experience that's both grounding and transcendent. "Interstellar" has become more than just a piece of music to me-it's a bridge to the eternal, a passport to realms of wonder and beauty that lie beyond our everyday experiences. Thanks to her extraordinary talent, I feel an overwhelming sense of being exactly where I'm meant to be: at home, in the universe, connected to everything.

She was just in the zone doing her own thing and having fun. That's important too. Somettimes a lot of professional pianists forget that and arebtoo uptight in their playing. When the difficult parts come, you see tjem struggle. In tjis performance, she handled with grace, and I applaud her for that.

Wow, I just came across this and was mesmerized. Watching Ella's body language, the way she was very attentive to both hands at the beginning, conveying the tentative uncertainty the opening of the song elicits through the first crescendo. When the dynamic drops from forte to piano in the opening, her body language completely shifts and relaxes as she gently brings her bottom hand back to the keyboard. Notice how that opening uncertainty and nerves are completely gone, just like the tension the opening builds before releasing into the gentle melody. She stops shifting focus between hands and lets muscle memory and emotion take control. As a saxophone player of 30 years, watching Ella took me back to performances where once the initial nerves were gone, I just fell into the emotion and let it bring out the texture in the song I was performing. An outstanding performance. I hope Ella continues to develop her talent and continues to share it with the world.
