Yes the radio is PURPOSEFULLY not playing BTS songs! And in fact BB changed the rules multiple times to try to stop them from getting number 1. There are videos on the industry’s hate for BTS by Boracity.

They even do it with English songs. It reeks of racism to me (and I am one who hates when people use that word all the time). I am one who does radio requests for BTS members and most still do not have JK’s English songs listed for alerts, etc., and when they do it’s many weeks after the songs are released. I honestly am not surprised on the non-English songs, but when I saw they weren’t including JK’s English songs that have charted, it confirmed for me that it’s intensional.

The military period is 18 months for active duty . So Jin who went in , in December 2022, will come out in June 2024. Hobie will come out in October 2024, Suga has 21 months to do because he cannot do active duty( due to his shoulder injury for which he was operated for). He’s still serving but in social service instead of a combat service. For this reason, the mandatory military time is extended to 21 months. As for RM and V , they will enlist on Dec 11 of this year . Jimin, and Jk will be on December 12 (the day after RM and V) , so we assume all 7 will be out by June 2025. And yes Rex, you will be waiting for this right along your fellow Armies.

It's not a conspiracy theory. The US music industry genuinely do their absolute best to prevent BTS from winning on US charts. There are charts that break down the components of the rankings for Billboard and their Korean songs get very few radio plays. As in one song got only 6 radio plays. However, ARMY still managed to get them to # 1. It's so bad that when Jimin got #1 with one of his solo songs, Like Crazy, Billboard literally changed one rule and one rule only that caused Jimin to lose 90% of his sales numbers. He still got #45 on the chart. The Grammys have treated the boys and ARMY so badly that the majority of ARMY now call them the Scammys. It's really blatant and really bad.

The friendship between Bang Shi Hyuk and the BTS is really sweet. He allows them to call him ‘Hyung’ which is a big deals as he is not only their boss but he is also 20+ years older than the guys. Jin uploaded a video of Bang PD cooking a meal for him at 1am. Jin had been in the area & rang Bang PD to see if it was ok to call in 😂

Someone else mentioned it but I highly recommend following Boracity...she's an OG army who does video essays on BTS and Army, the industry and payola, BTS' discography and she recently put out a video addressing some concerns people had with their different member projects/promotions/results. You're already aware, but there is that toxic element of BTS "fans" as well that are more like antis. Who will stan only 1 member, or ship members, creating misleading edits and narratives and victimizing the members as well, with delusions of company sabotage, etc etc etc. Boracity would be a good place to start, but definitely avoid accounts that are 1 or 2 member focused as they will not be reliable.

Did you know that in the MAMA Awards performance of Life Goes On, Yoongi was there in the middle as a hologram. He was on leave to undergo shoulder surgery but before he went on leave, they made a hologram of him to incorporate in the performance. When you watch other videos during this period when Yoongi was absent, watch their positions. They never fill Yoongi’s spot. Instead you’ll always see them leave a space representing where he normally should be. BTS is always 7 even when they’re 6.

IFPI is the only US award that really counts. The best butter to watch is the grammy performance! pausing so much is a real head hop. BTS won't pay for play, so they don't get played. It's really that simple. BTS and Big Hit refuse to engage in that kind of betrayal to good music and artists. There's a reason why no one watches us award shows and we call it the scammys. I don't think they realize how stupid it makes them look as BTS is obviously much better than all of them.

I am enjoying how you apparently have been living in a dark hole and didn’t hear BTS… after all it has been 10 yrs. But once you BTS you cannot go back. And you trying to play catch up is so adorable. You should watch cyphers by the rap line. Read the meaning. The rap line got a lot of crap for being idol. Especially RM and Suga who were underground rappers. And they other rappers felt they sold out. Those dudes showed them their place. The trajectory of every member and their improvement over the years. What they have always been good at is performing. Check out performance trailer. That was dope. Also dope was dope. Maybe you could react to the song first and then the documentary. - You could probably watch their content on your free time. I doubt anyone would have anything to say about it. This journey is much more enjoyable when you do it at your time and on your rules. - I have been an army for over a year and I'm no way near catching up on all the content. You know what, jk deleted his instagram idk exactly the number of his followers i think it's about 50M. Just because he rarely use instagram 🙂🙂 and now he sacrifacing his top career solo, and enlist the military service because he wants to get together with bts as soon as possible. I never see a group like bts. they are not selfish at all. everyone depends on each other, and they don't feel they are better than the members, they really perfectly fill each other's strengths and weaknesses.

The reason you don’t hear BTS on the radio is because BTS does not participate in Payola meaning paying radio stations to play their music. BTS has always been against this, they have been able to reach those 1’s and chart on Billboard solely due to ARMY..one way we give back to them is by streaming and buying..they deserve everything.

One thing you might not have noticed: 3:16 Actually that is not real suga😂 They literally spent thousands of dollars to have hologram of suga for that performance because suga was absent for 3 months due to a surgery for his longtime shoulder injury. They always missed suga and wanted to performance with him and when they came out with the hologram of suga l couldn't hold back my tears

To those who want details about suga's shoulder injury, it was during his trainer days when he worked as a deliery man for sideline at night because he was very poor that he couldn't even afford to eat proper meal. One night while he was delivering food in the dark on his bicycle, he got hit by a car and the car ran over his shoulder. It was hit and run and due to the accident, his shoulder was dislocated and that tore his labrum and rotator cuff. But he couldn't tell anybody at the agency or even the group because he feared that he would get kicked out. So he told them that he just fell down the stairs and suffered from his injured shoulder until late 2020-early 2021 when he ended up telling the company and got a surgery. He mentioned recently that he always took pain medication every show to endure the pain while dancing. This story always breaks my heart because bts choreography is known as tough and demanding movements but when l saw him performance, he was always putting his all heart to the performance and dancing so powerfully, but after knowing this story l could see in some performance that he was feeling pain while doing some movements especially lifting shoulders. didn't show his pain not even a bit. Suga ended up telling the agency about his shoulder but he decided to prioritize his activities once again since bts was starting to gain interest and popularity so it was the important period for bts, and he could endure it with pain killer injections or medicine. And then bts made a big hit in US and the fandom became huge, and his shoulder began to deteriorate even worse due to a murderous schedule and the pain became unbearable that tons of painkiller medicine or injections didn't work anymore. And it was during the summer when they were doing some kind of beverage commercials, he couldn't even lift that bottle up anymore that he and the agency finally decided to have break to get surgery If l'm getting some details incorrect, anyone's free to correct me!😂

Hey, the info looks mostly right. Just that he had to choose between having a meal or taking the bus home when he was a producer in Daegu, before he joined BigHit. When he worked as a delivery driver (with a scooter) in tandem with being a trainee, he had that car accident where he got NEARLY run over. The car didn’t run over his shoulder. I guess it was the fall that dislocated it. Nobody knows if it was a hit-and-run. No need to make it more dramatic than it already is. But yeah, the driver didn't seem to care for or help him. I guess Yoongi was so shocked that he didn't argue. Then once he was a trainee and living in the dorm he didn’t eat much or well because of depression and lack of funds for all of them. That's when Jin stepped up and became their cook. He also told the company much sooner, because they then paid for his education. But he kept his issues mostly private. Also ARMY knew about his shoulder problem for some years already (as did the rest of BTS working and living so closely together), but without many details, until he decided to tell his story in full.

The Olivia Rodrigo skit was from their live performance of Butter at the Grammys... (It was V btw... not JK haha)... Their performance was epic... they rightly got an audience standing ovation at the end... Jin couldn't do all of the choreo because he'd had surgery on his index finger and so they structured the choreo / staging around him as they were concerned he would get bumped ... Someone asked V what he was whispering to Olivia during that skit and he said ' Blah blah blah ' hahahaha... I'm guessing they chose him for his acting skills... (not that all of them don't have them of course... )

If you want example of a great reactor (that relatively new to BTS) I'd recommend Tribe Loui. He is very creative with his approach to reactions and he is genuinely in love with BTS and his audience. Jurnalist also is favourite of mine, because he is active rapper and producer and his point of view and insight is very interesting. But he is quite busy with his work (performances, producing, songwriting), so his reactions sometimes rushed. But he is still genuine and if he don't like something (like style of the song, production or lyrics), he is not afraid to say that, but he is respectful and explains why and what would be in his opinion better choice. It's always interesting to hear people from inside the industry in regards of BTS' journey. I am very interested in you right now and what direction you will choose. So, fighting! For you "conspiracy theory" I again strongly recommend to react to BoraCity videos. She has "bts vs radio", "bts vs Spotify", "bts vs award shows" and "why music industry terrified of bts" and ect. It is very insightful.

The Coldplay documentary is on youtube "Coldplay X BTS Inside 'My Universe' Documentary - BTS (방탄소년단)" and if you havent known before "BANGTANTV" Is BTS's official youtube channel Now Chris from Coldplay and Jin are best buddies. Chris ALWAYS makes a shout out to Jin and before Jin went to the military, Jin wrote a song with Coldplay called ""The Astronaut" and they performed it together during one of Coldplays concerts Chris refers to Jin by his government name "World Wide Handsome Jin" hahahaha

Hi Rex ! I’m sorry to tell you that , even with the following 18 months that our 7 kings will be in the military, you won’t be able to catch up with all the BTS content . There is just soooooo much of it, that it will be difficult to see everything. The good news is that, you will know so much more about them when they come out. We can help guiding you if you want. For great BTS reactors, these are some of the best : WhatchaGot2say , JohnReavesLive, G.O.T Games, JoseOchoaTV,and of course XCeleste are your most popular ones. There are many more obviously, but these guys are very genuine. You will find some that are just plain using BTS and ARMY for views, but I won’t name any. You will eventually figure who they are. As for you……I’m really enjoying your BTS journey. For someone that just discovered them only recently, you’re doing great. Btw, I’m sure you must of heard Butter on the radio cause it played non-stop. You just probably didn’t know it was BTS singing. Keep it up Rex 💜

I live in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, and we play kpop on the top 40 type radio stations. Mainly BTS but a few other groups as well. Solos are mainly Jimin and Jungkook, also heard that that by Psy and Suga. It's a great start.

Suga was recovering from shoulder surgery and they paid thousands to have him on stage with them even digitally. The best BTS reactors to me are Anthony Ray and Tribe Loui, you'll probably enjoy both of them a lot. Anthony is a huge rap and rock fan, so he focused on their rap work first and is really appreciative of it. Tribe Loui has never charged for his Patreon and is watching literally everything BTS, literally everything. So he deserves extra kudos along with Shiki who also has never charged for Patreon. I can't wait til you get into BTS's rap work and hear more of their diverse sounds.
