I don't know if enough companies would be able to look past the dollar signs in favour of being more environmentally friendly though. Zeesea is also a chinese brand. Marketed more for young people.. this one is more mature.. but seriously, chinese make up brands are now taking the market hard. Focallure, Perfect Diary, Nobb, and a lot more affordable brands with good quality

I live in Shanghai and I bought another set of an eyeshadow palette ( looks like a fan) and earrings of this brand. The brand says that all their products contain herbal extracts and a lot of other caring ingredients, and it’s safe to use it even for pregnant and breast feeding women 👍😻I personally adore my eyeshadow palette-it’s a masterpiece !🥰🥰🥰

the florasis Mandarin pronunciation is Hwa (rhymes with saw, the Mandarin word for flower), then shee (as in sheet, the Mandarin character for west), and finally zi (which sounds like a sound effect or the letter at the end of buzz, it's very short and the character is kind of a filler.) Hwa shee zi, 花西子! the name is just as pretty as the products, and almost as pretty as you! ♡

This brand reminds me of Zeesea, another Chinese brand. They did a collaboration with the British Museum using ancient Egyptian art. They also put out Alice in Wonderland eye shadow pallets and a Picasso collection. The packaging is a work of art. I’m not even using the products because I don’t want to ruin the embossing...so beautiful!

@@misty4937 Ah no, I think that's just for companies that are *imported* into China. If they made it in China and sell in China, they're not subject to the government animal testing requirements. :) Jen Luv has some great videos on the subject!

@@kagitsune you’re correct! Products that are made and sold domestically do not have to be tested on animals, products that are made abroad and sold domestically do. Last I heard China was also planning to loosen their restrictions on imported products so eventually animal testing would not be required, but I’m not sure what ended up happening.

I have a lipstick from them and I regret it....... because it's the best goddamn matte lipstick I've EVER. USED, and it's so beautiful it almost hurts me to "destroy" it every time I use it, but I can't stop! It just looks and feels so good on the lips, barely transfers at all and fades very gracefully. It's just perfect. Worth the 57$ I paid for it I'd say, but man it's just hard to go back to other lipsticks after it! lol The eyeshadow I like a little bit less, it's not as pigmented as I'd hoped but does look very good on the eyes. Gorgeous to look at for sure but I think I will stick to other brands. I have yet to try out a foundation from them though, that's what I'm planning to get next time. Very sad that these gift sets do not ship to the EU...
