The Life is Strange franchise has brought me so much happiness and for the rest of time will be amping my favorite games. So when I found out the small fish town of Chloe and Max’s actually existed..! I get to visit many of the Arcadia Bay attractions and it was an all around dream come true!

I see this 6 years later but when you said “I’ll never get to take wowser pictures with Max” I felt my heart dropping and my eyes tearing. Max was the character that I felt the most connected, I love her way of thinking, her way of talking to other people she’s so kind, supportive and I feel like 1 hug from Max would cure most of my problems literally ❤ but yeah.. instead, I play the game to feel closer to her

I also found this 6 years later, I watched a gameplay of the first two games back when they came out. For some reason it took me until now to rewatch them again as I've matured, and now the games hit me like an absolute truck, Life is Strange is now my absolute favorite game franchise. Visiting the real Arcadia Bay is indeed a dream I hope will happen someday.

I’m late to this but it feels so special that I live in Oregon and have been to geribaldi multiple times, not knowing it was the setting of life is strange. What I found just recently to be the most beautiful, real and touching game. Watching this to find out I went to that exact lighthouse made me emotional.. Your enthusiasm makes me so happy.

im from Poland but if i was to ever travel to America for vacations i think i know where im going... all LiS fans should have like a "gathering spot" there or a place where we can leave a marking on with our initials Imagine living there, playing the game and not knowing it was inspired by your town, then freaking out realizing how similar everything looks i will never forget this game. LiS 2 and other installations in the franchise will never be what the first game was. Pure masterpiece which helped me get through my teenage depression back then and shaped my world view on things

I loved how you described the heart and soul of LIS near the end by Cape Meares Lighthouse. This game has so much passion put into it, and it's so easy to fall in love the setting and the characters. Theres just something sentimental planted there forever now.

Thank you for this vlog ! I never even thought about the place that could've inspired Arcadia Bay but it's great that you went there and recorded it. Seeing the lighthouse, even in video, felt so special. I love LIS even after all these years and I still find comfort in its songs and want to cry every time I hear the last two from the soundtrack. I'm definitely going to make it out there since I am in Portland. I know it's not actually called arcadia bay, it's actually a mix of Astoria, Tillamook Bay, Garibaldi, and Newport. I'm glad I live in Oregon and got to experience a legendary game.

You can actually visit the diner that inspired the two whales diner in Beaverton, it's called the blue moon diner

Warren tells Max there is a drive-in just 60 miles away to Newberg, OR. If Garibaldi is supposed to be the real Arcadia Bay, then it's 84 miles to Newberg and not 60. Yet many fans of LIS have stated Tillamook, OR is the closest you'll get to the real Arcadia Bay which is 74 miles to Newberg making Tillamook 10 miles closer than Garibaldi. Then again, Warren could be 10 or 20 miles off. So who knows.

We don't know actually when we'll be going but we've made our plan just need the means to execute the plan. 😊 Also we were planning on documenting the journey there so that'll be fun.
