Got back to Australia last month after completing 700k from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela. Hired a mountain bike in Spain and including gear, it was a total of 27kg for a solo rider. Tried to stick to the trail most days but very rocky in sections. The relentless climb up to O Cebreiro was probably the hardest. Enjoying your great videos of the road you've taken.

Great idea to bring the olive oil! A few tablespoons of olive oil with each meal or after day of hot cycling can't be a bad idea. It is loaded with anti-oxidants and very energy rich. And it is soooo, slippery!

Hi You are both fantastic Is Virginia a pro rider? Astorga to Sarria, 150 kms, to much because you climb The Iron Cross and O Cebreiro mountain. You have no time to experience the Camino o to visit some little villages churches or monuments... anyway I like your videos and I have to say you both are so brave and beautiful of course.
