Alan Leslie this might sound strange to you, but I just woke up and before I went to sleep I was listening to some relaxing music that plays 24 hours on the Internet. In the dream I was looking for GOD, and I was seeing all of these false religions, and this little girl and little kitten. She had a hallmark card that said, Jesus love's you and to stop smoking. I woke up crying, but I never woke up crying before. I seen your comment that's strange.

???!!! Proud?! Have any of you 24 million listened, stopped to hear the words of the song? I'm sure L. Cohen would be sincerely sardonically amused by the treacly passionless insipidity of this instrumental video, white grand piano and mansion and all, and enjoy with a wry smile whatever copyright royalties the 24m of us brought him, if he was alive to appreciate them. It's like The Great Gatsby turned into a Mills & Boon, ha, ha!

You'd be shocked perhaps to know that Hallelujah,as written by Leonard Cohen, has absolutely nothing to do with god,Jesus, the bible, religion, etc. If anything,it's an antithesis on the subject. I love how when some people hear an exquisite melody,it's almost always praise God. Id like to think this isn't part of the hysterical illness of the religious hypocrites of today. It's the sound of beauty.

This is SO beautiful! With the times and the ways we are living right now, we ALL need to just take a minute for things like this and just let you carry us away. We all need to "re-set" now and then, be kind to one another, and wake up every new day exclaiming, "hallelujah, thank you, and Amen!". When I see all of the dislikes, it is quite heartbreaking. But, I realize that there are people walking among us who are SO unhappy with themselves and their own lives, that they cannot even escape themselves, or find joy in anything. Thank you so very much for raising us up! God bless all who read this...

It's very rare moments like these that convinces me we are here to be inspired, to love to learn and learn to love...not to fear the future of the journey, but in some way, impossible as it might be, to keep beautiful things forever even though we are on borrowed time and the door will soon close. Thank you for this moment .....Shed a tear or two...

Such a beautiful couple with amazing talent, and one of the best songs, ever. I loved Cohen. This was the best version I have ever heard. My prayers are for these two musicians to hit the top of the world...everyday names. Please don't ever give up sharing what you do. I would travel many miles to see you in concert. That's how much I admire what I have seen and heard. God bless you both, and thank you. By the way. I have shared with the FB world. Steven Brooks I'm so sorry for you. What a horrible year you've had, makes me so sad for you. My brother in law who I loved died from brain cancer 2 weeks ago. My heart goes out to you as I'm a widow too and lost my youngest son too, and daddy and mom. It hurts. I'm so glad you know God though. ✝ He will comfort you. I will pray for you dear. Heavenly song, huh. Knowing they are home free with Jesus and not suffering anymore is comforting. Be Blessed Steven. ✝❤

I've heard there was a secret chord That David played, and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this The fourth, the fifth The minor fall, the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you She tied you To a kitchen chair She broke your throne, and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Now, maybe there's a God above As for me, all I ever learned from love Is how to shoot at someone who outdrew you But, it's not a cry that you hear tonight It's not some pilgrim who claims to have seen the light, no It's a cold and it's a very broken hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah (Organist Solo) Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Oh people, I've been here before I know this room, and I've walked this floor you see, I used to live alone before I knew you. And I've seen your flag on the marble arch, but listen, Love Love is not some kind of victory march, no It's a cold and it's a very lonely Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah There was a time you let me know What's really going on below But now, now you never even show it to me, do you? I remember when I moved in you And the holy dove she was moving too And every single breath that we drew was Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah I done my best, I know it wasn't much I couldn't feel, so I learned to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come here to London just to fool you And even though it all went wrong I'll stand right here before the Lord of Song With nothing, nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
