It seems that after White's knight is on G5 and its bishop is out, Black can then short-circuit this whole initial attack by merely moving his pawn to G6, instead moving his pawn to H6. Am I wrong?

This is a blitz opening and is for players below 2000 in my opinion. My opponents usually range from 2050 to 2450 and id expect to come worse out the opening in classical chess and thats not what you want as white
