He’s insanely underrated, his sigs have like no recovery time, gauntlet ssig is literally a falcon punch with no lag, gauntlet nsig kills in orange and is un-jumpable out of dlight, dsig is really good for edgeguarding, all of the blasters sigs are solid, stats are insane.

I would love to see a sires like this just talking about the combo history and changes to weapons over the years. Maybe like what it was like to play sword at its prime why was it at its "prime" at that point in time. And what is the state of it now, Like how katars were broken with lin fei's 9 dex, or cannons rework, the lance neutral air change, just all of greatsword, or even just the axe down air change. I think there is alot of great history to show.

I've been making scythe for about four months now, I started with mordex and nix but wanted to swap to a less frequent scythe. Jiro is by far the hardest for me because of his defense but he's also one of the most satisfying to win with because of the high risk high reward

literally hearing "jiro has bad stats" is a nightmare imo. His dex and speed is really good and has almost the same case as queen nai, 1 bad stat (speed for queen nai, defense for jiro) makes them underrated

3 bad stats actually, too low defence, 4 defence will take away from attack reducing it to 4 and having high dex isn't good as it doesn't work properly

Except queen nai doesn’t only have 1 bad stat, she has 2, 3 base speed which is unbearable so if you choose speed stance you get 4 speed and 4 dex which makes it so you have no true combos whatsoever on katars, which is really bad for a string weapon

With more people playing Jiro then playing Jiro would loose it’s old charm of being an unlikely foe to a powerhouse who dominantes the meta

Jiro has: An amazing weapon combo (anything combined with sword is good anyways) Amazing scythe sigs (dsig and nsig are extremely strong. Side sig is still pretty good) Good sword sigs (side sig is good, nsig is good, dsig is good) Good kill power (good sigs and has sword) Shitty stats but stats don’t matter much unless you’re Queen Nai or Volkov.

just wanna acknowledge that the main thing making jiro "good" is a single sig on the 2nd most broken weapon in the whole game. don't get me wrong, I love jiro, he is actually my highest lv and i have the most stuff for him whether it be skins, colors, or weapon skins. i just feel like its either i'm just trash at bhalla ( which is very possible bc i've been playing since release and i'm still in mid gold simply because i cannot counter sig spammers), or jiro is simply still bad compared to other characters. but again, don't get me wrong because i still absolutely love jiro. he is my absolute favorite character and i almost always have fun playing him even if im getting my head stomped on by plats or diamonds OR sig spammers but i just dont feel like he is broken or better than really anybody aside from possibly queen nai or yumiko
