For those that keep asking,this is the general consensus for the top 5 characters in mk9: (Some of these can be moved up and down 1 spot depending on who's making the list but it's pretty unanimous that it consisted of these characters) 1. Kabal (had 0 losing matchups) 2. Kenshi (had busted armor on every special and second best zoning in the game, also had the most lop sided matchups as he 7-3d or worse a ton of the cast) 3. Sonya (safe armored launcher in a game where that's pretty rare, best d2, best d4, best stance, and 4 frame divekick) 4. Cyrax (could confirm any grounded touch into draining YOUR meter and 100% comboing you) 5. JC (most broken offense/pressure/chip) 5b. Some put Freddy here and Johnny at 6 like REO mentioned

Nikita Ivachtchenko up ball was an amazing anti air, very hard to punish. Some people even counter poked with it. Also had a command grab x-ray. Knives were pretty decent but he had a patch worth of being really good but he was nerfed.

So Freddy was Injustice 2 before Injustice 2. Now that I think about it, I guess it makes sense Freddy's a keep away character, seeing as he's usually in a different reality when he kills people. His idle stance looks so stupid, but bad animations are an NRS trademark so that's not surprising. Sheeva's braid was clipping through the middle of her chest towards the end.

I feel that the reason they did the reboot version of Freddy was because the movie came out around the same time. I wonder if the studio paid NRS to do that to promote their movie. I feel like the new Terminator in MK11 confirms this. They used the new Dark Fate T-800 vs the (arguably better) T2 T-800. Dark Fate came out a few months after MK11 came out.

I honestly feel like someone or some people at Netherealm have a fetish for zoners. I swear their wet dream is a zoning only fighting game. Deadshot in injustice 2 was OP for no reason. Using Bane against him was a joke. Superman in injustice 2 was also ridiculous with meterburn laser. I loved mkx but don't really care for mk11 but as far as I'm concerned netherealm doesn't know how to balance projectile based characters.

Actually, I remember being able to do a 14 hit combo with him, however you needed to cheat because it took 2 bars of meter and it does the x-ray, but without the x-ray it was still like 11 or 12 hits, freddy had combos my guy
