16:20 So in Smite 1 we have the Golden Shard relic (among the other “starter relics”)… I think it would be fun if we had Shard upgrades for when you hit level 12 and get to choose an upgrade for each. For Golden Shard, I was thinking something like… _Golden Harvester_ 800G _Passive: PASSIVE - All Basic Attacks will also hit enemies within a 15 unit radius of the target for 20% of the damage to Gods and 20% of the damage to Minions and Jungle Camps._ _Active Effect: For the next 7 Seconds, You gain Regen Health and Mana equal to the damage this item’s passive deals over the next 3s. While this effect is active, Killing an enemy god or jungle boss, or destroying an objective, refreshes its duration._

Great picks! I would have given Glad Shield a mention in the items, but I don't know which one it would replace. Also slight correction that SK/PK only had one roster change, not two, as Belair and ScaryD are the same person, just with a name change. I don't think that should change who gets the crown in that segment though, Epsilon/NRG was a juggernaut.

Motivate in Slash would be game-breaking. You almost killed the juggernaut, then it heals to full and gets double HP and extra protection

I actually uploaded a video where Giglas drop kick would put you in a wall. You'd die and wouldn't be spawn. You literally had to close game.

Ugh, release Ravana was depressing. I generally build him like a warrior now, and he was actually a warrior on release, but he just felt so bad to play then. He was about the only non-guardian I would be given in the old Body Swap MOTD (which was a great mode and should return).

Idk how meta gem of isolation was before they nerfed it, but having no cooldown on the slows was so good for some gods. Kukuklan, ares, xian tian. Damn I miss it

Although I love NRGs run I would’ve went with sk/pk their runs those years are what really got me hooked on smites esports! They were so hyped that It got me looking into previous championships! Their comeback/underdog story was amazing and It was the start to Zap’s 3pete

So sad that the trio PBM, Pcat and fineo will never make it to the hall of fame of smite 1, being dominant or at least up there with the best teams 3 years in a row but unfortunatly losing in the finals each time and losing the winstreak record (they had same winstreak as NGR if i remember correctly)

No they haven't said the servers are closing but SMITE 2 will be releasing free to play in January and effectively replacing it. SMITE 1 barely gets updates any more too, I think it's fair to say it's coming to an end even if it will technically be still running for the foreseeable future.
