I remember checking out some of his music back before he was on the XXL cypher. Think he had a couple of mixtapes out by then on datpiff. He definitely had some bars, I think the big reason he never caught on back then was his image, sounding a little too old school in an era where Kanye west and Lil Wayne were very dominant. He also did have some corny bars people would point out (as if Wayne and other punchline heavy rappers don’t). I think he’s a lot like Cyhi the Prince where he could be inconsistent and his punchlines came before any kind of song structure or theme. It was mostly about the one liners, which is fine and some people prefer that.

@@JustFollowingOrders12 One of the best experiences in my life as an artist. One thing that's underrated is artist development. Also the students click up and unite so now I got somebody in multiple states around the country I can bounce ideas off and tour if I wanted. We meet up in different cities throughout the year and I've met and spoke to several of rap heroes because their visiting professors. Imagine learning from Method Man and then Sway from Shade45, Pete Rock and Kid Capri stop by just to say what's up smh. That's the kinda stuff that goes on here.
