Hey Noah, did you ever try the rebula 3s? Would be interested to know how these compare as I still love my rebula 3s and haven’t tried these. Also, with the memory foam in these did you find that it took you a while to adjust your touch on the ball to this amount padding? Last thing (I promise!) is that I’d be interested to know your thoughts on these (and other boots in general) once you’ve had a bit of time playing in them too. Best wishes and love your videos!

Hi mate! Thank you for the message! I never got a chance to try the Rebula 3s, but I know they were very popular among Mizuno enthusiasts. I didn’t have any issues with the memory foam inserts, and haven’t since wearing the Tiempos full time either. I won’t be able to make a long term review on these because I didn’t wear them for more than a few sessions, but I know a few players who love them! Hope that helps mate

Hi Noah, those boots are gorgeous. I'm about to pull the trigger on a pair of Mizuno made in Japan's. But with the different models out there at the moment, I'm not sure which one I should go for. The neo III betas are definitely out as like yourself, I have very wide almost flat feet. Could you do a video comparison of the Mizunos, the morelia IIs, the remulo cup and the mizuno dna please? I think thay would be helpful to a lot of people who are considering but don't know which option to go for. If I could suggest so, I think it would be good to compare them based on a few categories, such as weight, snugness or lockdown, heel / ankle area support, grip and acceleration abilities, stud layouts for quick twisting, turning, stopping and change of direction capabilities and finally, a category where all of them would probably score 5 stars in, comfort. It would be great if you could do like an amazon comparison guide table where you have the different mizuno models and their strengths. I think you can leave the cost out, since we all know these babies can cost a tiny fortune. The scores could then be averaged a final score which could then rank which is the best boot from the company. I know many variables are dependent on a player's position, style, foot shape, but since we do not have the luxury of testing these boots out on feet, and have to resort to purchasing online as they don't carry them in stores in most countries, I think a comparison guide would be super useful.

I prefered the Mizuno Rebula 3 they had more leather midfoot to toe. The Rebula Cup took a step back with less leather and more synthetic in the forefoot.

You'd probably be just fine with this soleplate! Most of the studs are conical, so pivoting will be easier!

I have a quest regarding these shoes Noah. I got a pair for myself and theres a big issue that wont let me wear these. The issue is in the arch, specially on the left foot it feels like theres a golf ball at the bottom of my left foot. If you have found the same problem i would appreciate it, if not perhaps its a construction issue.

I didn't find it to be an issue at all mate! I would say that's more an issue of your foot not being the right shape for this particular boot - you probably won't fit in everything for one reason or another!

There's a Futsal version of the Morelia II which I've heard is really good! And it should be suitable for wide feet as well. The quality of the leather on this is definitely better than the Tiempo 9, but there's MORE leather on the Tiempo... So it's just your preference! Both are very good boots. 🤝

That's a good question mate - it just depends on how you like your boots to fit! If you like them a bit tighter, the leather will stretch a little for the 11s. If you like your boots to fit a bit looser, I'd just go with the 12s!

I would check the size chart for both mizuno and adidas to make sure they match up! I've found US sizing to be the most consistent across brands, so maybe compare there!

What is the main difference between the made in japan and the elite versions?

The made in japan version is a higher quality leather - I'm not actually sure what the actual technical difference is between the two but I just know the build materials are slightly higher quality in the MIJ variations.

The MIJ has the higher quality leather and the elites have the slightly lower quality and are made in Indonesia, not that that’s a bad thing. The MIJ in the factory has a foot mold in it for 24 hours before being boxed making it easier and faster to break in elites and pros is only 2 hours. It mostly comes down to small detail but the elite is still a high quality boot.

One last question. My foot size is 28cm which is US size 11 for all adidas/nike etc. But, if we check Mizuno size chart, US size 11 equals 29 cm, US size 10.5 = 28.5 cm and US size 10 = 28 cm. Should I go for size 10 (28 cm) trusting Mizuno size chart or should go for 10.5 in a safer side?
