I think Zelda would be mega stupid. Her U-air is massive and strong, dair spikes really hard through the whole thing, and neutral b *exists*. Up b goes pretty far, is a teleport recovery (which seem pretty good for ladder), is great for kills, and is nigh unpunishable from the gigantimax hitbox. G&W sounds spicy too. U-air is like mega man's, up b is great for recovery, Nair is good (fair might be good), and besides... Imagine up b to down air on the damn ladder. PT sounds great to me. Imagine ivy on ladder with *U-air* and especially *D-air*. Switch to zard for recovery. Also, zard and Ivy's N-airs could be good. And might I add, imagine if anyone else has Lucas D-air or Simon/Richter U-air

My friends and I have developed a meta for this gamemode. Some of the findings I remember: Dedede is top tier. Super jump covers the whole ladder, spikes super hard and also is cancelable so there’s hardly any risk. Samus is good and fun. Very powerful ladder guarding and ladder trapping, movement and recovery is solid and projectiles on and off the ladder lead to some insane strings.

How about this as an idea? Random Effect Smash. Play Smash as normal. Both of you decide basic stuff like Time and Stock, etc. However, you have to use Special Smash, with a randomiser. Cycle down the list of effects and for each one rng it. For example, for Size the options are 'Off', 'Mega' and 'Mini', so this should be decided by rng between 1 and 3. After the match has ended, repeat this for different results. Endless possibilities.
