Basically, when you are mega mario, your hitbox extends further to the sides than normal. This makes you able to grab the flag, which is hidden in the slope. You normally can’t grab the flag since you normally don’t have a mega mush.

A thrice thrice would be him watching different versions of the same thing 3 different times, and a thrice thrice thrice isn't a thing. Basic terminology: Once once: going through one section once with nothing ever changing. Once twice: going through one section twice with nothing ever changing. Twice twice: going through the section twice with stuff changing the second time around. Thrice thrice + any other number larger than 2: same thing as a twice twice, but you go through the same section more times with things changing even more, but there are no actual terms to describe anything past frice frice (which is 4 times)

All of that spawn blocking, from start to finish, was absolutely mind-boggling. The on-off state was stored by starting from a different checkpoint, but how did the P-Switch spam section start? Top tier, my favorite technical level ever.

It was not a twice-twice, It was a ton of spawn blocking. Notice the swap of the on-off state in Run 2 and the P-Switch spam in Run 3.

The setups are slightly different, but not immediately noticeable, so that the player applies the previous knowledge from CP1, but then is caused to die in a way that would not happen if it were CP1. In this level, a large number of spawn-blocking techniques are used. Run 1 was based on Red on-off state, Run 2 was based on Blue On-off states, and the 3rd was still blue, but continuously had the P-Switch being activated. I suggest searching Ceave Gaming if you are interested on technical details in Mario Maker.

9:18 That lava bubble glitch works because all parachute enemies and power-ups have collision with solid walls. So, if a parachute enemy clips through a long wall and tries to move to the left, it will move all the way to the left and outside of the solid wall. That's how it works.

Roughly speaking -this level works with SPAWNBLOCKING things ( on-/offblocks and blocks that can disapear or apear when a p-switch is triggerd). These things can then trigger p-switches or on-/offblocks which allows things to apear or disapear (that is why thing are changing). But i must say this hole setup and lvl is a masterpiece full of brainwork!! 🤯👏 [sorry for so mich "things" can't find another word for it😅]
