crits are apart of the game dude, just like accuracy in moves and rng in paralysis and sleep and frozen also moves that have a 10-30 percent chance to have a secondary effect happen if you don't like that luck is apart of the game then find a different game, as unfortunate as it is that one random crit was what it took to win in the end for the other person it's what the game intended when they created crits in the first place
