How to work with my video lessons? At first watch it and repeat all Russian sentences out loud and record yourself to check your pronunciation. After watching put down all sentences you can remember. Watch the video again in 5-6 hours and correct the mistakes in your sentences if you have any. Do the homework that I usually give at the end of each lesson. Watch the video again in 2 days and make your own examples with the patterns used.
If something is not 100% clear, don't hesitate to ask anything in the comments. Thank you for watching.

A good exercise for #2 is to practice saying "yesterday evening": Вчера вечером! It really helped me understand the difference between the two. Especially in pronunciation. Ещё раз, Алфья, хорошее видео! Ты очень хорошо объяснишь русский язык, и как он работает! 😎😎😎😎

Thank for your video! For me the most difficult words are verbs, for example пригласить and предложить. There are many more like these ones... it is so easy to confuse them (at least for me)

two topics which may be confusing: 1. all proper uses of travelling verbs of motion and with prefixes. when they are to be used. examples: идти, ехать, уезжает, приехать, поехать, едет, yxoдить, езжу… by transport, and then specific… on foot (пойти пешком). 2. all forms of telling time. example: без 10 пять, 10 минут пятого. половина пятого… most teachers i have come across (boost your russian on youtube for example) tell you how to say it but do not explain clearly the reason behind this. this makes it more confusion without an explanation to better understand why. for instance, 10 минут пятого is 10 minutes past 4 but пятого is used instead of четыре. there is no explanation of the logic to help understand why, just that you have to remember it. since the number is off by an hour, it is important to say time correctly and all possibly ways of saying this. also, time in 24 hours versus 12 hours am/pm would also be helpful even as a review. for learners and for review, a complete guide on this would be very helpful to clear up confusion of other teachers that only teach 1 part of this topic... like the basics of 2,3,4 with три часа путь чосов. but quarter past four, quarter until four, and other fancy ways of telling time may or may not use the same number in russian. and telling time is different than describing when середина ночи vs полночь. thank you спасибо.
