The spell is basically the opposite of the monkey's paw. It just understands exactly what you want to do and does it for you.

You would be Professor Flitwick's favorite student lol. I've always imagined that the "meat" of Charms class would be instruction in the very kinds of questions you are asking, especially at higher levels. We only see the "foolish wand-waving" side of the class on-screen because it's more fun.
