I always point out to people the 1994 Spider-Man found a reality where Uncle Ben never died to stop Spider-Carnage. So Canon Events can be changed as I feel Miguel is not telling the whole truth.

Great job! Maybe you can draw Jeremy Gill in the next video. I always thought it was a shame that Arthur didn't draw many fish in the journal.

The reason your video is showing up on my page, because I was interested in seeing if anyone is trying to draw like Arthur. I believe you could get more from the algorithm if you explain your technique and things you learn. So, people trying to follow in your steps can improve.

At least in the game play loop I get the idea of there being no greater goal or hope. But the developers sometime error way on the grim derp side and put in game mechanics specifically to make the game harder, not because they're immersive. Thankfully they're very open to mods, so I will play with things like they knew and the common sense mod.

for number 3 spiderman died in miles's universe there WAS one spiderman thats how the first movie starts. so maybe the interdimensional spider saves that universe from dying with biting down on miles so they going to have another spiderman, but that would kinda mean a cannon event already happend (with the dead spiderman)

Hot take: Miguel isn't even really just a poor trauma baby, he's straight up _just a selfish asshole who's decided to condemn others based on his own experiences, and is the OPPOSITE of what a Spider is meant to be._ The thing damaging universes is entirely unrelated to Spiders, and he's just so wrapped up in himself that he hasn't even _considered_ it's something else. Miguel is just a violently narcissistic egomaniac, and everyone following him is taken in by his deranged passion (which is, in truth, entirely dedicated towards propagating his own deluded and ignorant narrative of things). He's _fierce_ as well, relying on the fear of failing as a hero to cow his followers into obeying him without question and helping him build what is at the end of the day an empire-in-the-making, with him at the top, undisputed and beloved. He _hates_ the happiness of the other Spiders because his own happiness suffered. That's all. He's an _idiot_ whose narcissism has led to the deaths of countless people because he has coveted all this manpower to _not_ investigate the actual problem and instead jump when he says jump, and everyone who follows him, who buys into his garbage about suffering being a _metaphysical requirement of people who crawl on walls or else universes die,_ is an idiot as well.

How do you keep the graphite from smudging? I keep a field journal, and new drawings get so smudgy and bad looking after carrying it for a bit. I worry a fixative spray will be too sticky.

@techi9818 awesome that you have a field journal. I'm not entirely sure how to prevent smudges, though it could be the paper being less "absorbant" and therefore less transmissible. The softest/darkest graphite I use is 3B, slightly darker than a standard pencil. I don't use spray, but I've heard hairspray does the trick. Perhaps thin layers or a lighter pencil will stop the smudging.

@ Ah, that could be it. I use a leather cover and bind the paper refills myself, but my most recent paper is an off-white, fancy printer paper. It’s probably too glossy to hold onto graphite well. I find the softer graphite smudges worse. I have a prismacolor ebony pencil that I only use sparingly, but I try to use harder lead when I can to keep the smudges from getting bad. Thanks for the advice! I’ll try some hairspray to see if it’s too sticky or not.

I would like to start drawing, and ever since I saw Arthur's journal style I fell in love with it. What recommendations would you give to start sketching? Greetings from Mexico and happy new year!

@miguelromeogallegosmoguel8236 Thank you! I've been drawing most of my life since I was a kid. Over 20 years, give or take. My recommendation for any new artist is to start somewhere. Draw nature, if that's what you like. Or "still life" of fruits and bowls on a table. My main advice is to look at the source of inspiration (the subject you wish to draw) more than you look at your drawing. Understand the relationship--or the distance--between shapes and lines and that will lead to more accurate results. Unless you want to go abstract, in which case go crazy. Happy new year!

whatever project zomboid taught me before is that living alone with nature and away from civilization is beautiful, unlike what most people think that nature and being alone is scary and you gotta grind those papers for luxury brands with higher social status but instead just learn to fish, farm plants, build a solar panel and you'll be fine
