If only former Mariners Kyle Lewis has this type of similar career projection as Buxton, I’d take it. Unfortunately Kyle Lewis injury history since he was drafted in 2016 has cause him now to not be on any professional baseball team currently, even in spring training

If you’re a twins coach, you have to understand that he’s going to get hurt no matter where he plays. And based on last year, putting him at DH didn’t help, his offense regressed and he still got hurt. Might as well get as much out of him as you can in CF until that injury happens and if by some miracle he doesn’t get hurt, then it’s gonna be a fun 2024

1:35 he was injured for nearly all of last year. So I wouldn’t take last years stats to heart. And yea a lot of us Twins fans are excited this year. As Buck looks incredible. And he seems so happy and upbeat. Dude is so fun to watch.

HEY Mauer earned the 2010 game cover. He had arguably one of the greatest offensive season ever by a catcher. All Star, Gold Glove, Silver Slugger, AND the MVP in 2009. Oh and this would be his second year in a row winning a gold glove AND silver slugger.

Being injury-prone isn't so much as cursed. To me, the most cursed player is Nori Aoki, who played for the Royals in 2014 and the Giants in 2015. Had he switched it around, he would've won the World Series in both years. Then he signed with the Astros in 2017, and became the only player they traded away mid-season before going on to win the World Series.

A DH is barely on the field to begin with...italk must mean the bench. Can he stay healthy, whilst sitting inside the clubhouse all day? Seems to be correct question to be asked, it seems he cannot do that either.

Houston’s little league park makes guys look a lot better than they are. Correa is a great player but that field and stacked line up helped pad his stats. Buxton is a super star and I think everyone can agree center field has become a cemetery for high powered athletes. Guys aren’t built like Willy mays and Mickey mantle any more. CF should be treated like shortstop. You can’t put your best hitter in CF any more. Even Mike Trout fell apart after 10 years.
