nothing on paper wins championships and never will. analytical heads are not meaningful. real life isnt dictated by probability
@nomercyinc67839 сағат бұрын
year by year previous contracts given to players dont increase players worth as they get older. diminishing returns doesnt deserve any kind of massive contract. thinking even soto can ask for 600 million is fucking crazy

As an Astros fan, I hope we let him go somewhere else instead of overpaying for him. He's been great but that doesn't justify throwing the bank at him when we need to get Tucker and Valdez paid.

Mookie wins games with more than just his bat. And while he may not have any "memorable" post-season hits, he's often been a big part of the offense.

He deserves every penny of his asking price!

Honestly a healthy Sale is the closest thing I've ever seen to Randy Johnson. I don't mean that as disrespect to The Big Unit but there aren't really a lot of very tall, very thin, flame throwing, Cy Young winning left-handed starting pitchers out there in the majors. I'm not saying Sale is as good as Randy Johnson or anything. I'm just saying he's the best pitcher since Randy Johnson who has all those exact same traits I just mentioned. Also, Randy Johnson was at his best when he threw from the side. Sale does the same thing. That's something else they have in common.

Except Randy Johnson was way more stable when pitching…

Blame the owners and the fans for absurd salaries, it’s like CEOs of major companies making 7 figure salaries, bring that down and so how the games get more competive

Boras is bad for baseball. Always has been. If GMs started to ignore his calls, or low ball his clients it’d be great. Anyone including my dodgers sign Soto for more money than Harper got are idiots. Harper was too much. Ohtani was too much but he’s different and the amount merch sold in Asia pays for ohtani contract almost over its lifetime. Dudes the Jordan of Japan. Soto though, I’ll ask this, does anyone believe Soto just turned 26? If you do, then I beach front property for sell in utah. Bregman thinking he’s getting 300 million+ cmon! What’s next teoscar asks 35 million over 4 years? Or snell asking 240 over 8. Seriously.
