The tension during the dinner was great. I'm like "Holy shit, this dude is nuts!" Just like Rainsford. I love this story
@noelanivalegamendeznoelani8975 Жыл бұрын
I quite liked the plot and how Rainsford changed his mind at first, thinking that he had to escape from Zaroff and then realizing that escaping would not help him but that he would have to face him

Comment for class: I really liked his summary of the book ,it was very brief and well put. I agree that was makes this book interesting is that we see is how humans would react if were they are the ones in the position of the prey being hunted and how the ability to reason and critical thinking skills come into play, an example of critical thinking in the book is when Rainsford analyzes the situation and realizes it would be best to set up a trap and surprise Zaroff's instead of just running away from the general, this is a clear of example of the power of human reasoning and that is what makes it truly "The most Dangerous Game". I also agree that online gaming is similar to the book because in online gaming you make split second decisions based on critical thinking skills to determine what move would be best to defeat your opponent.

Good Report. I can somehow relate it to Herman Melville's 1851 'Moby Dick'. The Whale's retaliation is like Rainsford's offense. Captain Ahab's ego is comparable to Zaroff's ego. Anyway, thank you for sharing the summary.

I also liked the idea humans are the only species that can use reason and it's this ability to reason that makes us the most dangerous game in the world because it is really true, we are the only ones that can reason which makes us the most powerful in the world. That make me start to think that we could be much better than we are right now using our reason for progress and not for useless things.

I agree with Zaroff's thinking in the way you relate to online gaming. The computer Ai is rather predictable, while in PvP modes there is almost always a different way to play each gaming so it doesn't become boring.
