Death Valley is an incredible place! There's a running race that takes place there every July: Badwater 135. It starts in the Badwater Basin, below sea level and ends at the foot of Mt Whitney the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states. It's 135 miles and the weather is usually around 120 degrees. Not for anyone except the hardiest!

Watch yourself in Mexico am experienced traveller butkot easy there even when taking mormal long distance bus ...bag easily lost and con artists around in hostels (foreigners) plus cartels not the issue
