If any game asks for access to your; Messages, System settings, Gallery, Camera, Microphone (unless camera and microphone are actually used in the game), Call history etc. DO NOT GIVE IT! File access is a little tricky. As games have become a lot bigger in storage size they cant contain everything in a single APK and require storing their files elsewhere. Thats why all big games request and need file access. Still do be careful about giving access to any app that isnt downloaded from Google Play Store. And if literally ANY APP asks for ADMINISTRATOR PRIVILIAGES DELETE THAT SHIT IMMEDEATLY. Its 100% GUARANTEED to be a virus literally NO APP requires Administrator level access do NOT trust those apps.

Hey! A Brazillian speaking here. And I have a lot of informations. A version of the Stingray App was found recently. Some data from the apk file says that it is from 2014. But... None of that weird Chica jumpscare, or even gameplay happend. The game just closes itself and your phone gets screwed. But... I have some memories about Aptoide, and I want to share some of that. I remeber that I downloaded Aptoide in 2015, when a cousin of mine wanted to play Minecraft with me. He suggested using Aptoide, as every app was free there. I entered the FNaF community around that time as well, and I remember downloading FNaF 1 to 4 in Aptoide. Not just that, but I tried a lot of versions of every game, just to find the originals. And I have a clear image in my head of me seeing FNaF 2 Stingray and some Arabic stuff in Aptoide. But... The problem is that... My memories about it ends there. I don't remember if I downloaded it or not. Probably not, because I didn't lose that cell phone until like... 2 years later. So, I'm going to say that I didn't downloaded it. But, as I said I don't remeber if I downloaded it or not. If I did... Why nothing happend to me? I got a different version? I mean, I would not have any problems with my data being stolen that time, as I didn't had anything important there. I only used that phone to gaming, and I was a Child. I don't remember anything about a Chica jumpscare at the end as well, so... Did I got the wrong app? Did I downloaded the real FNaF 2 before trying Stingray? Was I so bad at the game to not finish it? Am I stupid? I don't know anymore. My experience with the Stingray ends there. I don't remember anything else. But, I have other stuff to say. I know that the Stingray popularity came from the Spanish FNaF community. So, there has been speculation about the Chica Jumpscare in the end not being Chica. "Chica" in Spanish is "Girl", so, a lot of people say that the jumpscare was a Ghostly Girl with no eyes instead of Withered Chica, and the Chica jumpscare was just a miss interpretation of the translation to English. But, I don't know if I believe it. There is a Girl here in Brazil that said that she remembers downloading the Game in her Mom's phone when she was a kid, and that Withered Chica jumpscared her, and she remember having nightmares with her. She also remembers that her Mom was really mad about she ruining her phone. And this all is followed with one of the biggest Mandela Effect in the world. I remember the Freddy turning Gray image in Aptoide. But, I know that this image is fake. The Brazilian guy who brought the mistery back from it's 2014 tomb to our audience is the one who did that Icon. And he did it just because he wanted something more intresting for his Thumbnail. But... It's so weird, I remember seing it in Aptoide. Also, that Withered Chica Jumpscare is not her 2017 UCN jumpscare. It's just a horrible edit. A still image of Withered Chica. And if you look closer, you can kinda see that it looks like a Unwithered Chica, as her arm looks fixed. In the end, FNaF 2 Stingray was real. But the Mandela Effect is messing with our heads, and we can't trust anyone anymore. The ammout of Information is so low that we can't have a clear image until the original apk is found. And that has a low potential of happening.

Really good video! Keep it up! I wanted to make a clearer picture about whole history of stingray. Firstly, yes its a virus that when downloaded from aptoide ( or sites that copied aptoide ) would harm your phone. Now stingray had its phases/versions that didn't hack immediately, but really waited for permissions to be set from the user ( that way I saved my friends phone ). Then in other fazes just upon installing it would wipe all your data, spam sms ( in some examples, which varied from person to person ) and harm even OS it self. There was fnaf 3 stingray too ( jumpscare was springtrap with deformed face which is actually in video 5:03), which as much as I remember was from original guy and fnaf 4 which someone recreated ( so it wasn't the same person ). So yea it is real, there is still some versions on the internet ( don't download them pls ). FNAF 2 nor it's demo had released yet, so unless you mean stingray originally made the virus for fnaf 1 on android (only mobile port that had released by then on august 25th), it's literally impossible for stingray to have made his fnaf 2 virus in august.

Tbh, Stingray probably exist, but not like in that video. Basically, there was an interview with allegedly "victim" of stingray and he told that it in fact was on aptoide, when you start it (stingray virus) you had night 5 already opened but you couldn't start new game, after completing the night you would get "jumpscared" by withered chica, but it was just an image that was drawn either in paint or either in clickteam editor and you would hear the FNaF 2 jumpscare sound and your phone would be just destroyed (atleast for the victim). I tried to tell it as short as possible but i can be wrong in some things, again, this could be hoax so you don't need to believe me for 100%.

when i was watching a first video about fnaf 2 stingray virus i decided to go on happy mod to download a apk of fnaf 2 that had everything unlocked and after a while i got bored of playing it but after i left the game i saw a scary pop up on my phone that was mentoning something about google play i got so scared so i decided to delete the game ASAP cuz i was scared i had a modded apk that might had the stingray virus inside but as i mentioned earlier i unistall the game witch is not possible for the apk that has the stingray virus and after that i double check everything if i really unistall the game and it was indeed unistalled so yeah i do not recommend downloading fnaf 2 apk from scetchy website modded or not i would rather buy the real apk from the app store

Yeah, this version was found by Brazilians, and that happend. But, we still don't know if it's a recreation or if it's real. And if it's real, we don't know if it is another version of the Stingray app. The Freddy in the icon in the app that was found is missing one eye, just like the edited icon that had gone viral. That Icon was created by a Brazilian, who brought the mystery back for us, and he just wanted something more interesting for his Thumbnail.
