Weighing in at only 48 kilos - around the same weight as two concrete blocks he often lays.
Lower end of 5ft range - he often lays bricks at over 6ft.
It takes him over two hours to get to work - by public transport, requiring several buses.
Jay always wanted to become a bricklayer since school. COVID interrupted college, Jay got a job working in Greggs until his opportunity arose to fulfil his goal to become a Bricklayer, he saw an advert for an open day GSQ Brickwork was hosting at the NHBC Training Hub in Cambridge.
8 months into his apprenticeship, he is crushing barriers & proving to be a real success on site.
