I have a problem with grenades. Specifically just the basic frag grenade. Its maximum immediate lethal range is only 1.5m, compared to the 3.5m of the sticky grenade. You can only throw the frag one way, and thats the hardest baseball pitch your character can muster, there is no toss or lob, its full on Nerf-or-Nothing. Couple this with the ridiculously light weight of the grenades, they bounce extremely hard, making them harder to accurately land into a group of enemies, or entrenched enemy, i find the frag grenade lacking. It seems as though only with grenade bandolier does the frag grenade remotely show any real threat because you just have 4 of them. Ive auraxiumed the frag on Connery but only by spamming them in huge fights where i dont have to plan my throw, i just go to the sundy, press E, throw 4, press E, throw 4 and win. i want to see grenades change so they can be accurately lobbed for a precise effect. All thats needed is a 10 to 15m soft pitch and boom, frags will be terrifying in point holds, and the one frag you get will actually mean something.

they're better now too after they made them have a minimum damage value, although most people run flak armor and ordinance dampeners for point holding anyways

There's a technique in this game that if you start the grenade throw just before you enter the doorway you will release it just as you appear in the doorway. That way you avoid getting shot. Also if you have sticky nades you can kill mounted turrets by throwing the grenade on the wall or ceiling behind/above the turret operator. Sorry to say but you missed the hay day of sticky grenades. When I started playing in 2015 sticky grenades were 3 times as powerful as they are now. The ultimate kills were sticking a enemy player just as they ran back into their spawn room. A easy 6 person kill.
