Every time Timmy tastes something bad, he gives out a stink eye vibe. You automatically know that the food is bad if he says it has the flavor of canned chicken or tuna. Imho, likely super cheap frozen bottom of the barrel frozen wings + perhaps overused nasty fryers/oil..... + crap sauces to top 'em off. Shame on DJ Khaled, his PR team & whomever allowed this cash grab. Shouldn't be put out unless it was tested & actually good/worthy. In addition, seems a LOT MORE effort was put into the stupid branding & packaging... than the items themselves. Bass-ackwards if you ask me. ;)

I'm curious about what ghost kitchen made that food. You should be able to figure it out by looking up the address they have listed for the "restaurant". Like, is it another chain that you have tried before, and did you like their regular menu items or you haven't had anything from them so you don't know if it's just as bad or better. The Guy Fieri Flavortown ghost kitchen, Mr, Beast Burgers, Maggianos, and Mariah Carey's Cookies are out of Bertucci's for me. I don't think Florida has Bertucci's so it would be some other place for those ghost kitchens.

I am really worried they are spoiled and you will get sick. I encourage you to try light truffle on a higher quality item. It does taste earthy but also a rather addictive flavor. It is excellent on scrambled eggs if you get a chance to try it.

I would've MAYBE just tasted the sauces w/ my finger just to give a rating & to experience; not taken a bite even. ESP since the chicken itself was a huge problem. Again, he's better than us. You should try Red Robin! The boneless wings are pretty good. The one near me is my new go to for delivery because they're the ONLY place that always gets my order correct every single time! I like the boneless wings, burgers, and the pizza is decent, it really grew on me tbh lol

We tried this too!! Ours didn’t even have that packaging. Come to find out, ours operated out of a ghost kitchen within a Chinese restaurant in a gas station. The sauces were wrong and flavorless. The orange jello comment was so accurate because I tried that flavor too. The price was insane and not worth it. You’re so brave

The excitement from the cheese fries dipped in ranch made me smile. But sadly, bad oil and sorry breading can and will ruin a good wing. Sometimes, places will throw in water pumped frozen chicken into the fryer and that can ruin meat. Breading and bad oil can make anything taste fishy. But I love your soul when it comes to great food. Better food next time.

The wings were likely fried in a canola oil blend which can impart a fishy flavour to food. Over time the omega-3 fatty acids that canola oil is high in can taste fishy. I think that’s why a lot of restaurants don’t use pure canola oil when they deep fry.

I think peanut oil is the best oil to use for frying. It is very stable and doesn’t impart off flavours. Oh and peanut oil used in restaurants like Chik-fil-A is highly refined meaning people with peanut allergies can still eat foods fried in peanut oil. Peanut allergies are caused by peanut proteins not the fats in a peanut, and highly refined peanut oil has no to very trace amounts of peanut protein in it.

Timmy, the problem with ghost kitchens is that these meals you are taste testing are coming out of the kitchen of a seafood restaurant, or a steakhouse restaurant, or Italian restaurant, etc. you’re getting two different flavor profiles mixed together in one meal because they use the same fryer/grill. So you’re not actually getting to enjoy fresh food straight from the actual recipe. Yuck.

Hey Timmy, love your video. Keep up the great work! 😊 Sometime when small fast food places fried their food, they usually suppose to fried them in different oil. For example, fries with fries, pork/beef/chicken in one batch and seafood should fried in their own oil. The boneless wing you ate probably tasted of tuna/fishy because they probably fried them with the seafood batch or something. Because there this one time I ordered popcorn chicken at a fast food place and it tasted VERY fishy! I couldn’t even eat it after. 😅

The fishy aftertaste in fried chicken is NOT a good sign! Of the horrors, the least egregious in a list of food NOoooOMG! Is reusing day-old cooking oil even if it was strictly used for frying chicken the day before. Reusing it will cause a fishy aftertaste.

Not necessarily. All oil in commercial kitchens is reused and filtered. The fishy flavour is due to omega-3 fatty acids which canola oil is high in. The restaurant must have decided to use a pure canola oil or blend maybe due to cost? Peanut oil is more expensive but doesn’t have any risk of off flavours. Timmy could feedback to the restaurant and maybe they could change their oil. A fishy taste doesn’t necessarily mean the oil is off, it just means it’s been reused which restaurants have to do.
