I worked a fuddruckers when I was in college. This is the one place I would still go to eat at. The bosses were great and helped cook or at the register when rush time came or helped us clean when closing time, super well cleaned. They would grind their own beef and bake the bread. My boss would always get a tuna steak that was on the menu, that was like 10 years ago? But I always hear horror stories of employees when they work at places and that they will never eat there after working there, but I had the opposite experience. The cook was always super proud of his job. He was great.

This is exactly how i feel about qdoba! That's one place i worked that i would continually go back to eat. It was a great work environment, the food was cooked fresh daily, guac made with real fresh avocados, super clean area! Great place to work!

Timmy, I am so proud of you for trying the elk and buffalo burgers! You keep expanding your horizons by eating new foods. You go ! We had several Fuddruckers in our area, but they have all closed since the pandemic started ☹. Ours didn't have the elk or buffalo on the menu. Also, ours had a vat of melted cheese that made the fries really stand out from others. Maybe that was the reason for the lack of salt on them (some cheese is on the salty side). I often got grilled onions on my burger, or sometimes got the onion rings (some of the best ever). I was practically drooling throughout the entire video. Come back Fuddruckers, come back!

I think you had a preconceived idea about the Buffalo and elk burgers and your anxiety comes out. I have had buffalo several times and it was good. It is a very lean protein. Elk does have a “gamey” flavor not oceanic 😂

I love your content! I worked at fuddruckers for awhile back in like 2018 and at our location, we didn't have wings, the wrap, mac, or mashed potatoes and our rice crispy treats were a lot smaller BUT the thing that I loved about fuddruckers was that they make all of their bread in house, fresh every morning. The grilled chicken 9 times out of10 is dry because it sits in a heat container for awhile. The elk and buffalo burgers are good but they are AT THEIR BEST when they are rare/med rare. My absolutely favorite thing to get there is the mushroom swiss burger cooked rare and their chicken tendies with fries. The ranch is high quality but they also have spicy ranch that they don't really advertise and the spicy ranch is SO GOOD!!!! Everything at fudds is high quality and fresh prepped every morning!! I love watching your videos!!!!! You are my fav. food reviewer!! SLAY

I love elk but it occurs to me that I have only had it in a stew or chili, so braised. Maybe it is so lean it doesn't make a good burger. And I have buffalo (aka bison) chili in my fridge right now. Delicious. To me bison tastes like beef just a little stronger beef taste.

Oooooh I am SO envious right now, watching! In the suburbs outside of Chicago, I used to go to Fuddruckers all the time. They had great milkshakes, baked cookies & ALL the bread/buns right there in front of you. Then, there were the burgers. With the bun, quality & being able to put whatever I wanted, leaving off what I didn't... the bestest! Their fries & onion rings were amazing too (esp dipped in their "jalepeno cheese sauce" which, of course.. I'd put a little on my burger too!) At least 15 yrs ago, they closed the location right by my house & about 10 yrs ago now, they closed 'em all in my state. Thought they must have gone out of business, since I haven't seen one since. :( Wherever you are... lucky you! :) ENJOY Well, everything but that Elk burger. You had me in stitches laughing. I give you kudos, idk that I could've even tried it. Funny story. Took my son in there when he was little, maybe... 3 or 4 yrs old. Happened to mention walking in that we were going to "Fuddruckers" & he could get some chicken tenders. Standing in line to order, they are pretty crowded & all of the sudden my son exclaims to the others in line.. "woo hoo..... you're at RuddFUCKERS too!" lmao. I love potato wedges. If that is an option I will always get those over regular fries. I like a thick fry that is fluffy on the inside. Currently waiting for pizza delivery from Uno's while I watch this. I don't know if you have this option in Florida at Uno's, but where I live you can get a family-size salad for $10.99 which is the same price as an entree salad that is exactly the same. My first night in Japan in '71 I had Teppanyaki and a massive tempura platter, qll prepared at our table. After that I went onq strict Japanese diet for the next eight months. Ramen, pho, teriyaki, o so ba, yaksoba, fried rice, sushi, and lots of white rice. The secret is: Soy sauce on every thing, the Edamame secret is eat the beans whole. Don't strip them with your teeth since the husks can be tough. Enjoy!

Hey Timmy a lot of the places you review would be totally different if you were experiencing it in the actual restaurant. The thing about fudruckers is they have a fresh toppings bar with all types of fresh toppings and seasonings for your sandwiches and your fries! There are a bunch of different seasonings for the fries and they even have a cheesy dip. That’s what I used to put on my fries. I can’t wait till you start driving and maybe you can film your experience in a restaurant or 2. UberEats and DoorDash and all those are great but experiencing the food hot and fresh in the restaurant would change your mind about a lot of dishes you tasted. I love your videos keep them coming

The Fuddruckers where I live doesn’t have a lot of those sides. I just looked it up as I haven’t been in a minute. The only one besides fries with the iconic seasoning new to me is Mac n cheese. There are some specialty Texas burgers too which means they cater to the location. That is cool.

I prefer bison to beef. I knew you were correct when you smelled it and you said the bison smelled "manly." I think it tastes "meatier" than beef. But some people think it's slightly game-y, which I think is the flavor you were trying to describe. It's also leaner, which might be why you think it was lacking in seasoning.

I LOVE Fuddruckers and I always get either the elk or buffalo (I always order it rare cuz it's juicier that way, but I have been told that that makes it gameyer so word of warning to those going to try it) (usually the elk nowadays cuz I have a hard time with beef and buffalo are cross breed with beef to get them back from the brink of extinction so I sometimes have issues with them too). Don't feel bad though Timmy cuz it probably is something you have to grow up on cuz I never even noticed the "gaminess" until other people who don't eat this kind of meat regularly pointed it out lol. Though what also contributed to that could have been cuz you waited so long to try it, as gameyness increases as it cools so if you ever decide to try it again I'd recommend making sure it's freshly heated when you eat it and don't procrastinate until it cools, same with buffalo. I also eat menudo, goat, and lamb as frequently as I can cuz it tastes so good to me. But my dad is kinda like you and can't stand gamey meat so it's not as often as I would like. He enjoys elk jerkey and elk sausage though so you might try that cuz it'll be seasoned differently and mask the gameyness more.
