As good as it was in the anime (eng dub) it was even better in the manga. The anime didn't quite capture what happened with Escanor in that moment. The normal pride and arrogance he normally talks with amplified so highly this man started speaking in Old English using "thee" and "whom" and shit. Gonna be honest, Escanor is the reason I watched the show, and he was pretty much one of the only main characters I genuinely enjoyed watching.
