However, if the assailant's mother had really done that in the first place, she would have been arrested for criminal damage to property at the time. However, no such reports or records could be confirmed. Therefore, I don't think there is any solid evidence to support that she vandalized Junko's grave. Therefore, I accept the story that Junko's grave was vandalized by the assailant's mother as nothing more than a rumor of unknown authenticity.

The part that's even worse for me is that Junko actually wanted to keep living. You can clearly see that most people would not handle such gruesome torture as well as Junko.
