I used to watch Kate Yup, and here's what I have on the situation Kate Yup was a very nice mukbanger who was supposedly kidnapped/held hostage, which i agree with. She stopped posting with no warning about a year ago. And here are the reasons why- As the videos progressed, she began eating quicker and quicker, and there have been videos where someone in the background supposedly telling her to eat faster. In more recent videos, she has these marks on her face which she claims to be a medical condition, but since its a sort of rash, i don't think it matches up with the marks on her face. She also has more marks on her arms, which she says is sunburn, but again, it doesn't look like sunburn. She also lost teeth within a video, and she seemed more stressed out. Now onto the community posts and what she says- In the few community posts/comments, one of them claims that Kate was perfectly fine. However, it wasn't said in Kate's point of view, it was saying "she's ok" and things like that. In Kate's videos, messages are sometimes spelt out by using caps, such as "HELP" or "SOS" She also ignores comments such as: "Wear red if you're not ok!" or "If you're not being held hostage, bring a friend over or another youtuber for a video" Though all these can support the fact that she may have been held hostage, there are also things that make it confusing. For example, why would whoever held Kate hostage let her edit, or did they not notice? And some people say they have found Kate Yup's photos, and I'm not sure myself if it's her. Some of the stuff I said here may not be correct, please correct me if I got some stuff wrong! i'm more intrigued about that video with the person tied and like some kind of blood or something all over the body and the floor and Dallas said that the video style were different might be that the video were recorded by the suspected murderer and posted on KZbin. The fact that she decided to trust that random stranger's email and went into the journey is bothering me, i really hope this case is solved and if, perhaps, she died, may she rest in peace. RE: Ash Robinson, I had a childhood friend who was really into internet mysteries and ARG stuff, and she once said she wanted to do a project where she'd make a profile that looked like a normal girl, but would slowly get more ominous until she'd just stop posting. She was really into doing stunts like that because she liked watching people react and form theories. Seeing what meanings people read into her stuff was enough of a reward for her; she didn't like explaining things or doing big reveals because that was never the point of her projects. Not saying this childhood friend of mine is Ash, but I'm reasonably sure whoever is behind that channel had similar motives.

Well, the unfavorable semicircle when overlapped looked to make an xray of a brain with issues that I can't describe as I am not a professional and am not sure exactly what I'm looking at. However, there are two halves to a brain that have different sections within them. Half of a brain males a dome, which can be interpreted as a semicircle. The person running the account could've had a brain disease and wanted to tell the world in an eerie way before it got so bad that he couldn't. Hence the name, the unfavorable semi circle. That's all I have.

If I ever create a streaming service like KZbin, which I won't, I'd definitely create a channel like Webdriver Torso, but the name of the channel would be something like "Quality Check" and would have some kind of symbol reserved for official channels, the video titles would probably be some kind of date stamp, the videos themselves would be much more complicated and random-looking, and after a while, you'd be able to overlay every video and it's audio and it would just be a rick roll. That probably wouldn't happen, I'd probably just have a private video that'd be deleted and re-uploaded constantly instead of just piling up a large amount of videos.

I used to be an avid subscriber of Kate Yup since she only had 15k subs. I enjoyed her fast paced eating of large portion meals, as it made me help regain my appetite. She looked fine then. I have a theory: Kate Yup was actually normal, she just have a disorder or something that make her eat much and fast. When some people start suspicion on her, she started acting like she was being kidnapped or being forced to do so. The marks on her arms are from that disorder that she got. (srry for bad grammar)

exactly this, because it brought attention. then either she did too much and got overwhelmed and couldnt escape from people saying she was kidnapped when she knew she wasnt and therefore left because that was too much, or she just made enough money and stopped needing to upload. think she still has ads run on her channel so she has a nice passive income while being anonymous so she has no reason to keep going

I’m sure they do. The police do a lot of things you don’t know about because it isn’t news worthy. They deal with a lot of kidnappings and hostages and psychological dwellings and whatnot.
