Looks like KZbin wasn’t a fan of our original videos on the Iranian Embassy Siege and restricted them. So, we’ve combined both videos, sprinkled in some censoring, and are crossing our fingers it follows KZbin’s rules this time! You should cover the 1980 Norco Shootout, which was a bank robbery that involved 5 robbers, a car chase on the freeway, bombs being thrown at police, a helicopter was shot down (it made a safe landing), and a foot chase in the San Bernardino Forest. Three of the five robbers survived, multiple cops cars were damaged, and a riverside deputy was killed, his name was James Bernard Evans

Interesting facts for gamers, the rainbow six siege operator, Thatcher, was written to be one of the SAS operators who took part in Operation Nimrod. Another fact is that one of the SAS operators, John McAleese, was the inspiration for the original Captain John Price in the Modern Warfare trilogy.

Operation Nimrod is the one that solidified the SAS's place as an elite counter-terrorist role as well as putting the MP5's legendary 'good guy' status on the map.
