Yes sir. Now at 58 and almost 3 years into my fitness journey, I am mostly focused on a combination of bodyweight, dumbbells and walking/hiking. Sometime weight added for bodyweight and the walking. I feel great and I am fit as most 20 year Olds. Still gaining muscle but, most importantly I am just better at all activities.

I'm a 48yr male. I'm 6f2. I went from 260lbs to 185 in just over a yr. Im now trying to get to 10% body fat. I'm between 17-20%. I am now trying to burn fat and struggling.

It is exactly like that. Thank you Larry! Personally, I also like to cycle long distances (at least 3 - 4 hours at a time). I can see immediately the next day that the incisions are a little deeper.Has a psychological aspect due to the extremely fast results.But it is very time consuming!

It's important to find exercises we enjoy. There is no way you could consistently ride for 3 or 4 hours if you didn’t enjoy it.

If you are patient, I could see it happening eventually. I have to do somethings differently with bands because they work better higher rep than a traditional 5x5.

Another great video full of information.... although one point worth a mention for older lads to consider.... rucking can induce a forward lean which can negatively impact the lower back.... imo, a weight vest is a better option, as the weight is more even distributed around the upper body, lessening the compulsion to lean forward. I walk with a combination of ankle weights, weighted vest and dumbbells.... maxing out at 40 lbs of extra weight over 5 miles of undulating road almost every day (if I walk further, I will usually reduce the weight)
