I'm glad you started a channel, these simple guides are great!

The switching between weapon, pants, and gloves added an unnecessary layer of confusion, tbh.

You're right- I should have stuck with just one example for the whole video. Thanks for the feedback

Simple way of seeing 1 blue trait gives 40 blessings. U need 450 to 100%. So if u see the purple price lower than 8 u buy blue traits. But it its around 4-5 times like 50 Lucent then buy the purple one

Question. Can you unlock traits onna purple with blue trait extract if you have blessings for 100%?
@nightweaver_tlАй бұрын
Unfortunately no- to unlock you need a copy of the item (or the item's extract) with the trait you want to unlock, or use unlockstones, or reroll into it using the trait conversion (but that's not really unlocking I guess)

@l0rd0fl0rd9Ай бұрын
Alright clearly im stupid and need a written example, i understand full level blue for level and blessing but the 2nd item for extra blessing you kinda loosing me here, please correct me if im wrong are you saying to spam trash extremely cheap blue traits in the 2nd item until you reach the required blessing cap, fuse blue into it then fuse that into final item? And follow up whats up with this divide by 12 thing
@nightweaver_tlАй бұрын
Yep you're correct- and to reiterate, your blessing cap is determined by calculating (# of expensive desired traits * 1350 blessing). The part where we divide by 12 is intended to find the max price of those extremely cheap blue traits. So for example skill damage boost on a ring- a purple is say, 280 lucent, or 450 blessing. The blue version of skill damage boost is 60 lucent, which means we need to spend no more than (280-60 = 220 lucent) on achieving 450 blessing. The price of the blue skill damage boost matters here because you still need a blue version of the trait when you guarantee the level-up with 450 blessing. All we're trying to do now is hit 450 blessing and keep our cost UNDER that 220 lucent. As long as you do that, you're saving lucent using blessing versus just buying the purple outright. The reason we divide by 12 is to find the highest average price of the cheap blue traits we can afford. If you pay more than (220/12 = 18 lucent) 18 lucent for every cheap blue trait, you're no longer "beating" the price of just buying the purple trait. Also if the price after dividing by 12 is less than 10, you know the purple trait is already too cheap to use blessing on and you should just buy it outright. Hope this helps.

Use it on the most expensive trait line
@brettlewis2900Ай бұрын
This wont work if the item is already +9 tho right? Like if my gloves are purp +9 i kinda missed out on the opertunity to transfer blessing to them right?
@nightweaver_tlАй бұрын
Kind of... you can still farm blessing if you have an open trait slot or have a cheap purple trait on your gloves. As far as I'm aware though with current prices- you're probably better off just buying the purple traits since they're typically really cheap
@vendrickableАй бұрын
i dont understand the method 2.. can you explain?
@nightweaver_tlАй бұрын
Method 2 is also farming blessing but in a different way- when you transfer a purple item into a purple, the game gives you blessing based on the levels of the traits on the item you're sacrificing. Each trait level beyond the very first one (the one the item comes with) gives 120 blessing. This means if you have the option of buying REALLY cheap traits on that sacrificed purple item, you can be spending 10 lucent for 120 blessing, which translates to 40 lucent for 480 blessing to guarantee the purple trait levels up with a blue extract, which again is EXTREMELY cheap.
@ReptarKingoftheBrozoneАй бұрын
I guess i fail to see how this is any cheaper than just buying a purple trait to get the same result.
@nightweaver_tlАй бұрын
It's getting harder to do it because prices keep dropping, but it's most viable when your purple traits cost WAY more than throwaway blue traits. Ex: skill damage boost on a purple ring for 450 lucent, but there's a throwaway blue trait available for 20 lucent. You'd fail stack using 11-12 of the throwaway blues, totaling 220-240 lucent. That gives you 440-480 blessing to guarantee the blue traits up the purple- then buy the blue version of skill damage boost for - let's say 100 lucent. Your total using fail-stacking is 320, versus buying straight up which is 450. Hope that helps.
@ReptarKingoftheBrozoneАй бұрын
@nightweaver_tl great explanation thank you. Makes sense situationally like that
@lastonestanding1449Ай бұрын
Good one, im surprised how none of the guides aside of this ever mention trash traiting purple to get 120blessing for each trash trait line. please tell im if theres something wrong with it, most of the time its very much viable, lucent wise. GJ
@nightweaver_tlАй бұрын
It is EXTREMELY efficient lucent-wise, only downside is you'd likely need multiple purple items and a lot more sollant if you're going for high blessing totals
@Sevenar7Ай бұрын
You didn't calculate the fact that, directly use the blue extract has a 10% chance to level up the trait
@nightweaver_tlАй бұрын
Can't really calculate for something that isn't guaranteed- BUT any 10% chance you pull off saves you even more lucent ^ ^ the calculations here are assuming absolutely terrible RNG
@higguma29 күн бұрын
This is good if you dont actually play the game and want to rush to purple like the whales. Thanks for sharing though. Very complicated. Best tip is save all purples and expand bag/ storage up until it starts costing lucent. Save all your purples and save all things and capes that are blue. Also, dont take any of the codex gear. You’ll need it later. Also prio the lithograph books that give gear but keep the rewards in the book to save space. Thanks for reading. When you get enough game knowelge, youll thank me. Also, use questlog to actually plan a build. I think you should be good to plan a build around 250 hours.

Speeding to purple is terrible. It's better to just grind it unless you have the bankroll to back it up. The game limits you in various ways, not just one. It's definitely a huge advantage to spend though.

@higguma29 күн бұрын
20 dollars can literally skip more than 100 hours lol. I'm not even fully traited blue after over 150 hours f2p. You only got a taste of p2w if you played first week. The market has crashed and you have to farm the base gear to even pay to trait it. Unless or course you buy the overpriced full items/ lithos.
