Sophie must have been ready to go to the bathroom too. She rides a lot better than my cat who whines and meows until the ride is over. I go through this every year when we go to the vets for her annual exam and shots. It's a ride neither of us enjoys.

Having one cat doesn't mean that you'll never find a boyfriend. A cat is a companion. If you get a second cat, that cat is a companion for your first cat when you are not home. When you get a third cat... I can't justify that. By the way, I have 3 cats and no boyfriend. So, I guess two cats is the limit before you turn into "crazy-cat-lady."
