The most epic MTB crash I have ever seen, at Stevens Pass NWCup

OK the next few videos will all be from our amazing race weekend at Stevens Pass! It was the best weekend Ive had mountain biking ever! We met new friends and I personally progressed a little. If you follow us on instagram @backyard_shredder you already know how it turns out, but that doesn't tell the journey of all the fun that was had. Enjoy day one of Stevens Pass NWCup race practice.
Crash explained -- This was on the Cat 3 course so anyone from 4 year old and up could ride it. That being said a very young rider was having some trouble so his dad stoped to give him a push and that's when things got out of control. A rider came in a little hot and his handlebars hit me in the back which sent him flying off the feature.

I love seeing young riders out but the kid that couldn't ride the trail should have been on an easier trail. The dad should have let the huge pileup go by at the first pullout to reduce the chance that someone tries to make an unsafe pass.

Dad Bod Biker there are a few there pretty much anyone can ride. The easiest is golden spike a green flow trail. Biggest thing is to control your speed.

Dad Bod Biker Well I’d say do Duthie before Stevens just because it’s a skills style park. But Stevens runs are like 7-10 minutes down with no uphill pedals 😁.
