Which is why Star Wars has gone so woke. Edit: you Disney shills can defend their stuff and even like it all you want, but at the end of the day their take on Star Wars is not selling. The vast majority of the audience has tuned out. Nothing they’ve made in the last few years has turned a profit. Nobody reads their books or comics, they stopped making movies and keep canceling almost everything they announce, their shows flop harder with each release and never get a season 2, they barely make any games with the last one being one of the biggest jokes of the year, and their merch/toys which used to be SW cash cow are sitting in clearance bins because nobody wants the stuff. The content is so bad that most SW creators don’t even bother touching the stuff like the Acodyke or the High Republic series or the new Outlaws game. And even Andor which so many claim is an amazing show just never got the numbers to warrant a 2nd season because the vast majority are just done with SW as a whole. We’ve moved past the level of fan outrage/hate to just outright apathy. And if you really are a Star Wars fan, you should be upset to see Star Wars effectively die because Disney has no idea wtf they are doing other than forcing identity politics into it. And if you’re going to call the EU and especially the OT “woke”, please define how they were woke cause it sounds like y’all are trolls who have no idea what the word means

I dont know who else to ask, but you're the guy who got me into the rabbit hole of the russan reformation for the last couple years. Do you think any of the prequel era or even high era jedi would've had the opinions of going back to a preRussan order? It seems like it was the militaristic height of the order until the peak of the clone wars, and surely with the vote for a republic military in the movies we could deduce some jedi would've thought it a good idea to have a military; showing signs that there are probably some more militaristic factions in the order theoretically? I figured if anyone yoda who was born a little over 200 years after the reformation, would've known about the prereformation order way more than other jedis; and maybe if there were other jedis of his species in his own time, he may have talked to former jedi lords and seen battle armours and heard opinions on whether the reformation was a good idea etc. All this from my thought that palpatine never could've done what he did if the order was structured more like the prerussan time, but then again the order would have its own problems with the republic itself, hence the reformation. I can't really find anything on it from this angle though.
