If you play as an Argonian, you still hallucinate and see the civilians as goblins. Turns out the Hist sap was tainted, so even Argonians will go crazy.

I think it an awesome easter egg for the next Elder Scrolls game if that painting is found in the game. Perhaps in a gallery or in a collector's collection of paintings from over 200 years ago.

There are a couple of NPCs who go outside and paint. Astia Inventus in Anvil will actually go to the docks and paint the lighthouse. And obvious Chanel from Canvas The Castle.

Dunmer hate Argonians and vice versa it's the oldest and purest form of racial prejudice in Tamriel and after all these eras they've kept its spirit alive and well 🥲

this one always cracks me up how child like it is. I did that quest as a Good Cop and I was an Argonian that is also the Silencer

When you say Oblivion, the main painting quest is what first pops to mind. But this is a bonus. They just really like paintings.

After all this time, I thought it was just a simple painting. Laughed so hard when I met and found him drawing, like "you're a champion, Oreyn, and even if you paint, you can only draw swords and how to stab people!" And afterwards, just forgot about the painting, didn't look at it hard, just glanced and that was it. And it was further forgotten when Skyrim came out and took my time from Oblivion completely, for a while.

Bro you're incredible at voiceovers. This content deserves more views even if just for how well you narrated it.

For years, ever since I first played this game I have always thought it was him and his Argonian lover holding hands. Never once have I noticed the sword until now.

On the Xbox 360 there was no way to take screenshots so what I would do is save my game and scroll though my saves as sort of a gallery and look at any pictures I took and It lets you relive it since you can just load it but this picture was always one of my favorite

I love this moment. It's a small detail but I love how good his painting was getting. Skyrim lacked humor. Everything in that game takes itself way too seriously. Oblivion had tons of little moments that don't have any tension because not everything needs to be about saving the day or fetch quests. Hell even Sherogorath's quest in Skyrim is taken seriously and for whatever reason there is no mention of Jyaggalag. Remember he is now free of his curse and is now separate from his other half. That is one of that game's many missed opportunities.
