Was a good day for chicken of the woods!!!.. easily beaten my previous record. Interesting to note most of ours were found on sweet chestnut... typically always look for them on oaks... but I know they grow on Yew also (altho some feel you shouldn't eat those - not sure if there's real science to back it up.. that harmful chems from the yes carry accross into the shroom?? maybe maybe not.. .I like to think the shroom purifies the yew.. .but still.. perhaps best not eat these ones.

@@TruffleForager Yeah I'd more avoid the ones on Yew in case the Yew leaves had fallen into a crevices! I heard that there is some evidence pointing to it being safe but defo not worth risking. Although Oysters can clean up an oil slick and be perfectly edible afterwards! Paul Stamets said that!
